Great service from Alex, well done him!

The one box solution would be a 2 x 12, TKS or possibly TecAmp to match with the PUMA head. I had a Barefaced S12V, Gen 11 and most of the time it was superb, but in a couple of regular venues it was almost impossible to eq out a touch of "farting". Not excessive, but audible enough to irritate me. Or I might just stop being a prat magpie gear whore and just get the TKS grills powder coated. Perhaps Rickenfaker Radio Active Snot-Glo

Used mine last night. 2.5 hour gig at very large pub in Darwen, Lancs. Punchy when needed, smooth when needed. Worked very well with PUMA 500, Gramma pad and passive Fender P/J. Plenty of bottom end for me. According to wireless gaytartist, they sounded great, no dispersion, farting or volume issues. One of the great beauties is of course the lightness of these cabs. Despite this they feel really well made. Only "issue" for me is constantly thinking about a 1 box solution, just to save on trips per night. Whilst both cabs can easily be carried at the same time, there are still usually a lot of (punter blocked) doors to negotiate Never happy me , Victor Meldrew's mentor.

I like the simplicity, it seems to have all the basic functionality needed for a weekend warrior like me. Just an opinion of course

Billy Sheehan Attitude Special. Signed by Billy. Sold..

40mm nut, similar profile neck to NateMendel sign, so between standard P and J. Strong enough to hammer nails in, keep drummers/punters in place. Neck pup, get your Bad Co smooth on. Middle (P) pup, get yer 'Arry on. More growl than a pissed off Rottweiler. Mix both, loads of variation. MASSIVELY under rated basses. I've finally got down to 3 basses. Please buy this and save me from myself -
Sold thanks. Fender Precision USA , 1997, a bit Harris like.

Well come on Jose, gigged yet???? I'm on an enforced gig hiatus (work travel/meetings) until next weekend so mine haven't been tried in anger yet. Home trial (which I'm never a fan of) has immediately revealed great, punchy cabs, just how I like them . LOVIN that Blue . Thinking of getting my grills powder coated with a big white stripe down the middle, (Toon colours).

Don't think I've ever described a bass as immaculate, but this one is. American Deluxe Precision, 2012 with the big hard case and case candy. ACTIVE/PASSIVE It still has the clear protective plastic on the tuners, battery box cover, pick ups and scratchplate. Light ash body, maple neck and board, black scratchplate. 18 volt active pre amp Light for one of these at 8lb 14oz ONLY up for sale as I need to reduce numbers and my Blue American Standard Precision seems to be going nowhere sadly . £950 collected from Wigan (or I will meet up within 50 miles of there at no extra charge). Or, arrange your own INSURED courier. Apologies for photos but it's snowing outside. I THINK if you click over a photo, it might take you to my photobucket, where you can click on the zoom button to see the pictures enlarged. But don't hold me to that Any questions or trial welcome, feedback linked at bottom of this post. Many thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. They never got as far as gigs. I wouldn't have dared. The only time stage volume really matters is when you don't have foh/decent monitor system. Those 2 x CLites would not have given enough volume (for me) in the larger pubs my covers band does. Against 2 Blackstar 2 x 12 guitarists and a drummer with mic'd up kick and snare. The Vanderkleys easily dealt with those robust evenings.

I got two of them Phil Jones C4 lites and tried them at home the day they arrived. They were on their way back to Thomann the following day. Beautiful tone out of them, but VERY lacking in the beans dept. Even with my (at the time PUMA 900) No way would I get the volume out of them that I need live. Hugely disappointing. Although in a gig hiatus until next weekend, the two TKS S112's with my newly acquired PUMA 500 give me no such concerns. The 2 Vanderkley EX112'S I had were excellent, but I simply wanted smaller boxes (and less glue smell!)

PUMA 500 Mike. More than enough beans, daft simple to use. I know folk say you shouldn't worry about it, but 900 watt head and 500 watts of speakers worried me, hence changing from the PUMA 900 to the 500. Enjoy the hunt
Karlfer Remember posts on ad's don't notify the op. Unless he checks in he won't see the super friendly bump. Your a good bc'er sir!
Very kind krispn but it was actually not particularly aimed at anybody. Last week I put two buyers on to two sellers. Deals concluded. Do that VERY often, few folk bother to say ta. Anyway, moan over, as you were (might be looking good for the chap from the Yam page ).
