1. Right, enough, it has to be said. In the various places you have this advertised, your first paragraph states it's a P body with a J neck. It's not, it's a J body with a P neck. And if these things had a tone control, it would be mine GLWTS
2. Couple of other folk wanting to do a deal on this head, but it's on hold for cash sale until Sunday thanks. Cheers, Karl. EDIT. That's spooky, matron has vanished from post #5
3.
If I may Karl..... These used, certainly in their initial build on the Italian models, analogue power modules from Bang&Olufsun which were later changed. I'm not sure which power modules they are using since changing production to the Far East. I'm sure others can shed more info
Yeah, Markbass eh , great gear, not so much with communications. Anyway, the 500 uses the analogue, the 800 uses the digital. Presumably to get the last 3db out of it. This is one of the very last to come out of the Italian factory, so not subject to any spec change from the original.
4. Thank you MB1 Response to you first below. I was asked if this was analogue or digital, the questioner not being wholly convinced of Markbass's accuracy on their website. Hopefully the second photo will help with that question. Appears to be silver objects behind each vent. Best I can do without opening it up, which sadly, with it being immaculate I'm not going to do. My hamfisted destroy it knack is legendary in Wigan
5. Not mine( sadly, one can but hope one day). Just in case anybody is looking for one. On fb, you may need to scroll down a good bit. Hope the link works https://www.facebook.com/groups/689090051102626/1003835842961377/?comment_id=1008973049114323&notif_t=group_comment_reply
6. After listening to the delightful Mr West above, I will NEVER criticise our vocalist ever again. That was diabolical. Thank God Freddie finished it.
7. Nope, just a bargain for superb quality lightweight cabs
8. Them Bergs are a steal at that price, especially with the covers included
9. July 2014, one of the last Italian ones produced. Excellent, pretty much immaculate, condition with original box and Roqsolid cover. I am the only owner. This amp is loud. Oh so very loud. These (Italian) actually sold at £800 but now the Indonesian ones can be picked up for £570. No doubt the Indonesian ones will come up around the £400/£450 used. Specifications http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=183 I need £510 collected, or £530 including Roqsolid cover and UK delivery. Only trade would be an absolutely immaculate PUMA 900 with bag. I am simply going back to PUMA as I don't get on with valves. Just seem to be forever fiddling with EQ/Colour. With PUMA, I just set everything and left it. Any trial in Wigan, feedback at bottom of post, cheers, Karl. 10. He was claiming it was a 78/79 bass, more than a decade before the Mex plant opened. Yet the "headers" were stating Mexican.
11. The best has left us. Absolutely devastated.
12. This is insane. I'm going to put this elsewhere so if you get some daft emails be patient. It's criminal this amazing piece of kit hasn't gone at this price.
13. They must be really special Barrie, and let's face it, the basses that go through your paws, you would know I've had a couple of the US 75 RI and found them to be exceptional. Light weight, great sounds and playability. Only thing I wasn't keen on is they were pretty much all "natural". Might just keep an eye out for one of these 74's. Cheers for that.
14.
A woman of few words, nothing understandable.
I believe that is French for PM, which for the Guisborough amongst us, is private message. At that price, few words are needed. Are you needing Hattie again Tom
15. Certainly found my TTE to just have "more" than even the splendid PUMA 500 and Carvin 700
16. Bump, just for another look at those glorious TKS cabs
17. Just let me know chaps ON HOLD thanks
18. If you want to sell some of the basses you have up, it really might be worth looking at some of the good ads on here. I'm out, good luck.
