1. Some decent close ups, front and back would really help your sale. Warwick's are hard enough to sell at the moment. Will you courier? What is the weight? Many dings? Does this have those funny strap lock recesses and are the relevant strap locks included? I'm not being a twat, I'm actually interested in this bass but two little photos are not going to part me from £450 plus courier
2.
78/79 made in Mexico? Now that is rare even by Ebay standards!!
3.
Could be the reverse headstock mate. That would put quite a few more reserved buyers off... not sure about it meself!
And this from a guy with a (admittedly stunning) headless Status . Actually that's exactly why Dave wasn't keen on trading. Still we are a "conservative" bunch us bassists, only Dusty I can think of with reversed headstock. Mind, Jimi and Nuno didn't do so bad with them on the dark side. Fairly sure this isn't going to go in time to get my Limelight back, so no big deal.
4. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/70s-Fender-Precision-Bass-Guitar-/252006712518?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aacc544c6 I've stopped reporting these to FEEBay, they do bugger all about them. Hope nobody falls for it.
5. Ah, the good old Pink Pigs of Uranus. What a bunch of sweeties. SPLENDID 4 day long version of Walk Don't Run
6. Being picky, he needs a bit more proof reading. That Angel Thank's for nowt kodiakblair
7. Nowt personal Tom but,
8. As Ray Against The Machine said, send the link for this thread and remind them there's 30,000 members on here. That can be a lot of sh*t stirring! Must admit, I've always found Reidy's to be good, let's hope they do the right thing. Didn't know (and not convinced?) they are owned by Rimmers. Reidys, with respect to Rimmers, are much more bassist friendly. Good luck, BUT SEND THEM THE LINK! Cheers, Karl.
9. Cheers Neil It's only been up a couple of days, but very little interest sadly. So, it's either; A Dusty Hill tribute , even this light, is too out there for folk, or folk think it's too expensive. The latter, well there's about £1300 of top quality parts on this. Just try buying the pup, these model tuners or the bridge, never mind the neck, light swamp ash body and paint work. Must be the former, I've not even had any lowballs to ignore
10. I think we need a Skank script here
11. Just wonderful. Quality and looks
12. Sounds excellent on the you tube link, very nice indeed. GLWTS
13. Oh dear Bilbo, bit scary, that you are thinking of a Floyd tribute one of these days
14. Sadly, this is the about the 5th of these I've heard of this year. Certainly I know of 3 in the north west, in a very short space of time. It is a hard, costly, lesson to learn. One of our gaytartists always leaves his gear in his car, it's only a matter of time sadly. Doesn't matter how hard it's pissing at 2am on a Sunday, my van gets unloaded. I hope you get gear back, I'm keeping an eye in the NW for you.
15. I've managed to live without ever buying from Apple. It was clear to me from very early on their pricing was a rip off and frankly not something I would tolerate. Fair price for buyer and seller? Up to both parties to consider their requirements. Music industry for most new creative's is basically shagged, imo.
16. Only up until my old Limelight goes. If you want to know how good this bass is, open the build diary link (in 1st post) and go to post #102 in the build diary. Not to mention it's a bit of an eyecatcher
17. Hiya. 1. Is that Sunset Orange? 2. Where are you based? 3. Will you courier at buyers cost? Cheers, Karl.
18.
If you send an email the guy is very helpful! Thanks Mike.

I sold mine too, and also very much regret it. Good luck with getting yours back, Karl. Mine's gone forever I think, I had to prioritise my 76P, then I needed to spend quite a chunk on an unrelated issue, so there it is.
Well Mark I'm hoping my Dusty a like goes before my old Limelight does. Twitchy nethers
19. Marinus, what are you doing to us I will be the one to ask, what does it weigh please? Fabulous looking bass. Top guy to deal with. Jeez, I hope it's heavy or I could be in trouble again
20. Hell's bells Tom, you are worse than me for turnaround Good job you are amazing to deal with!
21. Thanks Mike. They are out of stock, but I'll keep looking
22. What a stunning, iconic looking Precision
23.
My limelight has arrived! 66 Jazz style, but P/J, with Master Vol/Blend/Tone. Note the tuning heads I sourced in Germany It's a little lighter than the dark sherwood green I was going for but it's still lovely looking. Mark forgot the chrome pickup cover over the P pickup but that's ordered and I will fit it myself. Looks fantastic and amazingly authentic. Sounds wonderful too!
Lovely looker Mike. Whilst we are on, any chance of a link to the German lollipops please? Cheers, Karl.
24. So, if I was to sell a comfy chair to Cardinal Fang for £750.......... Have a bump for messing with my head
25. A word of warning. If you sell your Limelight, you will regret it. I sold mine and I very much regret it. It has come back up for sale, I'm going to try and get her back. Keep your fingers crossed for me please
