Thanks Dave, very kind One went last night, just one left now, advert adjusted accordingly. To those who have mentioned Indonesian at £355. These are Italian. Apparently Italian ones will not be made for the foreseeable future. The Italian ones were originally out at about £660 street price. The cover was £40 extra. Already, used Indonesian ones are looking at going around the £225/£250 mark, that's a big % loss if you move on a new one. Just my opinion of course Cheers, Karl.

A Bongo was an itch to be scratched. Just got this, gigged it, 24 frets and active are not for me. 2012, single pup, 3 band EQ, weighs just over 8lb, so it's light. Balance is excellent. Very good condition with a couple of scratches and one little dink as far as I can see. Original Bongo case which has a few scratches. £750 cash collected from Wigan is preferred. Because of the value, UK mainland courier would be another £35 including insurance. I AM VERY HAPPY to talk trades, of particular interest would be immaculate US Precision or such as Rich's Baer cabs, or Dave McCombes Berg cabs. Weight of a bass. 1. Ask wife/girlfriend/mrs 3 doors down for luggage scales (or spend £5 at local low price store). 2. Tie ribbon/handkerchief/sock/special lacy undergarment around neck of bass. 3. Suspend bass from luggage scales. 4 Read weight reading and put on the advert. Sorry Wiggy, sarcasm not aimed simply at you but it is common for people to not put the effort in, regarding weight. In doing so, they simply put off a significant number of older buyers. For instance, my Dee Dee Ramone is up for sale at a stated weight of 8lb 5oz, which is actually a few ozs too heavy for Tom, as I well know. 40 or more years of heavy basses hanging off left side shoulders does make you beg for light. Bump.

Further interest seems to have vanished. I've not been using it, simply to keep it pristine. If I still have it next weekend, I'm going to start gigging it as it's a nice, powerful playable relatively light bass. Sale is preferred but I would certainly be interested in a part ex against a Bongo or Sterling as these are both itches requiring a darn good scratch I have cash to put to a tempting deal.
