What key is Kumbayah in?
-
Many thanks for all that Martin, really kind but Dover IS just a tad of a trek You certainly appear to be the first known person to buy one. Don't know what the beef is with the Hammers to be honest. This is possibly 'Arry's most iconic bass. As much as I would love the stripes to be black and white and the badge to be the Toon, it would not then be a replica of one of my most revered basses. So, instead of slagging it off and raining on somebody's new bass day, perhaps keep it to yourself and move quietly on, OR, I will take a note of your name and wait for your NBD thread, mwh hah haaaaa
Isn't it delicious when someone criticizes the build quality and price of a product and the overzealous people that bought the shoddy product, and can't admit it, *prove* its greatness by criticizing the person that criticized the product. ( It's called an Ad Hominem.) Do you know how owners of Wal and ACG and prove those are nice instruments? They put up audio clips. They don't need to form an attack-cult. The Mickenbacker Award of excellence for you.
Disney to sue John Hall
Such a harsh response to a simple question. Why?
If it's any of your business.... The thread (I guess) was set up as a celebration of anticipation. It wasn't set up for somebody to derail with the usual monthly opinionated bollocks of "All Mex are sh*te". It's unnecessary trolling. He could have deleted his loaded question, chose not to, and invited what you would call a harsh response. Your questioning of me is also a derail. PM me if you have anything to say. Karl.
I was going to say something about this (knowing of your proclivities) but didn't want you to think I was doing so just because I don't particularly like the bass! Especially since the forum seems to be quite short-tempered today... is it something to do with the eclipse, d'you think..?
[s]Shut your festering gob you vacuous toffee nosed malodorous pervert. You sit there on your loathsome spotted behind[/s] Nah, never gets short tempered on here discreet. If I do get one, might be a tortie plate
I'll keep you posted Drax. I've got a mid 70s P bass and I love the neck on that. I love big necks anyway. Roll on tomorrow
Keep us all posted Martin. I think, if the neck really is big dimensions, I might just bow out of my order with Thomann, as I know it will become an ornament, then an expensive loss. Wonder if PMT Manchester are getting them in????
Is it worth it, considering it's a MIM?
Interesting thought. I have sold all my US Fenders and my Rick 4004 and ONLY gig my 2 Mex Fenders listed below. BECAUSE BOTH are fabulous gigging basses. Your comment is one that has bored the tits off me for years now and really your are just looking for a bit of attention. Well, ya got it.

Just gutted Was only "talking" to him a few weeks back on Faecesbook. Tragic loss.

Wow, thanks guys, not very often anybody pays any attention to me. Including both bands Charic, the illustrious self appointed leader of Troyen tells me it can't be done. To be honest, I don't give a monkey's wang It's not like we are ever going to go professional, or trouble the charts. Do they still have charts Thanks for taking the time and trouble guys.

Following is a link to the second review of our album (that I have found anyway). The 1st one was quite good, but this one is very kind http://corelive.co.uk/?wp_artists=troyen
