5. Interesting bass, special run for Thomann and very tempting. I use one of the FSR's same layout, Mex made, a run from early this year. Sea foam green, P body, J neck P/J pups. Last night I took my Fender Custom Shop and the FSR. As ever I used the Mex.

SOLD

Would have been long gone if London wasn't a 400+ mile round trip. Somebody is going to get lucky. Bump.
10.
What is it with singers? I've had a real rollercoaster with bands the last couple of years. First band the singer could sing, but was always forgetting the words and ended up running off with my Mrs which killed off that project. I stole one of the guitards and set up a new band, the singer for that one was a grumpy fecker who used rehearsals as practice to learn the songs. He was sacked in a few weeks. Singer no3 now and after 3 months he still does not know all the words for the set and at a gig last Friday kept starting in the wrong place on a few songs. He is going out of the door in the next few weeks I expect. All 4 other band members manage to learn our parts and considering most of us know all the words too how hard can it be for a singer to do that? So I'm looking for a singer, fun/pub gig classic rock covers kind of thing, male or female, must possess the following: 1. Be decent at singing 2. Be able to remember the words 3. Be able to start and finish singing at appropriate/correct times 4. Be available for rehearsals at least once per week I think I'll start with an ad in the local music shop and go old school before I start with joinmyband. If anyone knows any singers in the north east...... Cheers, Rich
Jackie Pattison from Darlington. Don't know hat he's like now but I worked with him nearly 40 years ago and he was bloody amazing. Best ever version of On Broadway. He was pretty damn good at Zep as well!
11. He's not been on site since June 9th so I would guess he came, he flogged, he buggered off. Might be worth PM'ing him. Good luck.

13. 3 rotaries on front, no battery box on back so possibly not. Nice though, bump.
14. Surprisingly a long standing member with great feedback. They would have been around a grand better off by tonight
15. I've just had a bass buy fall through because the seller would only take PAINPal gift. Not cash on collection (even though it's a 200 mile round trip for me) or bank transfer
16.
Surprised this hasn't gone yet - bargain price for one of musicman's best!
It was close
17.
Well, I now have the best bass I have ever played - no. 139. .....and it sounds very like a Slab66 through my V4BH 410 rig too Roll on the next gig.
Not until you put photos up you haven't
18. Beautiful. All the S1's I have had have been great. Thinking about this one, if it hasn't already gone.
19. In my youth I played all things pointy, to be different. I seriously would not want a bass that could turn me into a castrate with one ill concieved move .
20. Slow hand my arse, I saw you on that Overwater! Bit wide in the nut for ladyboy hands like mine. Doesn't mean I'm not still GASsing though. Have a bump.
21. As a result of my selling my SEI, I had a bit of interest from one particular chap. He was too late it was in the throes of deal being sorted. We got chatting. He mentioned his band. I searched them, I love them. Mad Dog McRAE Guildford tonight but Attila the Hen and I are going to see them on the 18th in Preston. An excellent result from a sale that didn't happen
22.
No problem, buddy; next time I'm coming up your way I'll see what you'd like picked up. You'd better bloomin' well like it when it arrives, though..!
23.
Are you by any chance related to Phil Rudd?
Taught the bairn everything he knows Edit, incorrect use of apostrophe.
