Oh God, The Bachelors. I can't remember how many times my mother dragged me to see them when I was a child -
Thanks, Dave. This is 'the one', if you want to have a look... http://s734.photobuc...s?sort=6&page=1
So, A.You were famous. B. You sold that Precision. It is fairly obvious your sanity has completely legged it. You must keep the Limelight, buy the P back and give them both to somebody of sound mind, to ensure they are properly looked after. Hmph, sound mind, didn't think that one through did I. Good luck getting your P back Mark. -
I was merely referring to the possibility of ordering a custom tort guard from a well-known manufacturer of such things... ...only to be disappointed with the result, leading to a great wailing and gnashing of teeth.
I would have asked Mark to put a brown tortie on this stunning Burgundy mist. And been derided by all and sundry for doing so Actually discreet didn't twig what you were alluding to, cos I'm a bit 40 watt but gotcha now. Burgundy Mist eh, splendid.

Fabulous bass bumnote and well done that man. I won't comment on that tortie scratch plate issue, suffice it to say discreet is to taste what Ghengis Khan was to diplomacy . I am sure like the rest of us lucky peeps, you will get even more delighted as you get used to her. Now, as looney tunes said, pics to Limelight porn thread please. Congrats again, great choices.

64 jazz tribute, light relic. Picked it up, it almost knew what I wanted to do, like an old friend bass. The Focus is quite tempting Tom, as Her Who Must Be Ignored decided we should replace the Tigra for something equally tricky to get out of . Thank God I use the van most of the time . The jazz was the only thing I had of real interest for the chap who had the legendary SEI "Melt" so I had to give her up Oh, and just in passing, the Blue Flower P is kinda gone subject to blah................. Thanks for all the interest folks.

Didn't have cameras then Alain.
So... no sex for a while then, Karl..?
Spooky, that's EXACTLY what the current Mrs. discreet said in bed this morning -
Great, all under 9lbs then- that's good. They look great, just need to try one now.
You mention surfing so perhaps you are SouthWest. Think Mark is Brighton based. Perhaps call him, see if you can go try a bass. He is currently showing (admittedly heavy relic) a Burgundy Mist jazz and Fiesta red Precision in stock. Good luck.
Hmmm might check those out. Got addresses?
Would only make a difference if you bought them over there and snuck them back in. If you purchased from there to send to UK, fairly sure you would have to pay our 20% VAT on full price including shipping. You would also need to pay UK import duties. Think it's the same as buying from States, add about 25% to cover shipping VAT and import. Back at OP, could you not buy a cheapie, then get a proper one sent to your hotel from an Internet dealer in the same country as you are working, if that makes sense?

I often wonder if sub conscious has something to do with this. For millenia, music and dance has been part of the courting/propagation of the species thing. I just wonder if once you get past the main rush of that in life, subconsciously you start to lose interest. Dunno, but I'm very much in the way of don't make 'em like they used to. Regardless, the early 70's were my formative years, and as has already been pointed out, the formative years were days of very frequent new experiences. -
