1. Preferred the zombie make up Clarky Great bass series these. Added to which, having had an 62AVRI it seemed to me like you could squeeze more tonal variation out of stackers, so a great mod on a fundamentally terrific series of basses. Would love to do the stacker on my 2002 Tango'd, but I'd break it GLWTS Bump.
2. Peterbuilt have an excellent reputation on the continent. First one I've noticed second hand on here, they don't come up much. He makes some absolutely stunning basses in great colours with great pups. GLWTS somebody will be VERY happy.
3. Thanks fellas. Further pm's replied. Found a link (dark side alert ) which has a bit chat about these, INCLUDING the spec list. Fender Hot-Rodded P-bass?P/J passive question. | TalkBass.com
4. Thanks Dave. Bump.
5. Are you willing to courier it Dave?
6.
I bought a compilation called Metal Killers from Woolworths in the 80's and Venom's "song" black metal was a bit of a shock to the system. Venom were releasing albums back in 1979 - which makes them the original black/death metal as far as I know.
Fairly sure it was 1980 we supported them. 80/83 we did gigs with bands as diverse as Gillan, Marillion, Venom and Saracen. Mind supporting Shakin Stevens and The Sunset's in 1976.....
7. Was on hold. No longer on hold. The bloke's wife says so
8. Supported Venom back in the day at The Honeysuckle in Gateshead. Bit shouty, bit scary.
9. Stunning Bump.
10.
Just as long as you don't say 'Rickenbacker'. D'OH!!
11. Don't mention Montezuma Brown I think I did, but got away with it.
12.
Are you implying my meat and two veg are Mexican..?
Well your comments are frequently spicy
13.
I'd like to state that I've never had maggots put down my Y-fronts but I'm sure that I'd like it.
I'm sure they would get on with the worm* * statements referring to members genitalia are simply an opinion with no basis in research. ** especially MIM genitalia.
14. Sorry, I can't help. Bass cabs being 200 miles away, that are "impossible" to courier are frequently an issue here, FEEBay etc. They obviously swam here from US , China etc in a bubble on the backs of mermaids. There is a Vanderkley I would love to buy, but 440 mile round trip, 9 hours+ driving, £95 worth of fuel, I will simply wait for another one to come up. One that has an owner who knows the deep mysteries of bubble wrap, cardboard and a £20 next day courier. So, I can't help but I would guess that life is not dependent on getting this cab immediately. I do hope somebody can help you. Good luck, Karl.
15. The bit of opinion I always love is all Mexican Fenders are crap. As neepheid pointed to, nobody has played one thousandth of Fender Mexico's output, so therefore any opinion is based on an infinitesimal test base. FWIW pretty much every Mex Fender I've tried have been good to excellent, but that is just my experience. People who put out STATEMENTS based on a tiny bit of experience should be visited in the small hours and have a pint of maggots put down their Y fronts.
16.
Cheers Karl
Cheaper than most Japanese, only a little above what folk are asking for most standard Mex. Absolute bargain for a US bass. The Highway one jazz I had was terrific.
17. Fabulous basses. AMAZING PRICE
18. Can you put sold in your advert please so the MODS can close this topic. So I don't keep coming back to it!
19. Try North West Bands if you haven't already. I have a link to our page below (the BBGM link). Lot of gigs through this site
20. Sorry Mr Solo, only looking to part x this (plus cash to other party) on a Fender Custom Shop jazz. Or perhaps a Bongo
21. Gents, the seller has not been on the site since Oct 30th last year. Whilst the bass is probably long gone, you may get a better response by PM'ing him.
22.
Might that be something in Burgundy Mist? Whatever the case, have a "how is this still here?" bump, on me.
Might be I did ask Mark at Bass Direct for X amount against the lovely Custom Shop 60 stacker (that has been changed to VVT, but stackers still with it ) but he couldn't quite go to what I needed for this, against that one. He's got a profit to make so fair enough. Mind, that Burgundy Mist Ta for da bump
23.
Sod it - jump now, balance the books later.......PM'ed

Go Martyn
The North West Chapter strikes again
24. The only reasons this has been here for the last week and a half are a 9 hour round trip, 440 miles, £95 worth of petrol. Somebody is going to get lucky. Bump.
