1.
And.......................................... ......................... here it is 7000. 6888 of them are probably in the FS sections as well
2.
What about later in the day?
That could have been a LOT worse, I knew I'd left myself open there
3. Sounds like Att Ltd 1so it should have a little switch nearest the neck. You can do a search in the for sale section but with the Ltd 1 generally they seem to have gone for £800/£1200. Really depends on timing and if you drop on somebody desperately looking to get one. The following link may be worth a try https://www.facebook.com/groups/294500090592/
4. I've used nowt but the Premium Round Wounds for the last 5 years. Love them. They feel great, they last well, they sound good to me. Service from Dawn is excellent. I know nowt, but in the probably 300+ gigs I've done with them, they have been great workhorse strings.
5.
Fender are now enforcing patents, wonder if the same ban will be applied.
Now THERE'S a thread! I was kinda thinking today, (shut it!) wonder if the same trademarks apply to the R*** 4005. Apparently the CEO calls them Tuna Boats and won't have them made again.
6.
I can bring the whole range - they are all tiny and don't weigh much Only problem might be if we sell lots - another went today. . .
Oh yus!
7.
That really would require a device with magical properties.
Uzi 9mm

9. Or for me, 8.5 hours and £80 of fuel. Wish I'd never sold my last one as they are excellent basses. Sadly I won't be replacing it with this one though.
10. The following link, the "after" is the bit I'm after, in black (or Jetglo Plastic )to replace the huge chrome and plastic pup surround. I can't find one in Rickysounds? Linky Pickguardian Custom Pickguards
11. Sigh, knew I shouldn't have bought that 4003 last week
12. And Norwich is considerably to Kent and Central London than Wigan is. Generally superb basses, glwts.
13. Perfection
14. More abuse, can't be beaten. Too late sadly Nick, one's paid up and I don't think I have the life expectancy to cancel.
15. So I decide to get a piece of kit to replace the chrome Ford bumper bar that a particular company put round their bridge pick up. Pickguardian are the only earthly ones I know who do this piece of kit. Straight onto their website, piece of kit found. What do you require version 1, 2 or narrow, please download template. So, template downloaded, copied to pictures, opened with Adobe (down with the kids or what dood? eh). Press print. Cartridges need replacing. No they don't, did that on Wednesday. Out with offending cartridges. Back in with offending cartridges. At the 4th attempt it decided it liked the cartridges. So then, it decided to ask me to remove the jammed paper. No jammed paper, but did as I was told twice. Then it told me to switch off and consult manual. Switched off twice, finally agreed reluctantly to print the template. Success, hard fought, but success. OK, it's version one. Back to Pickguardian. All goes swimmingly until it decides $15 for 2-7 days delivery. Last thing I ordered from the states would fit in the same jiffy bag required. That was $4 and was here in 6 days. Not happy with $15 as the bit of plastic was only $18 in the first place. Oh well, in for a penny (or cent). Pays for it, relatively happy and slightly less homicidal by now. Then it says it will take me back to homepage in 10 seconds. I hadn't been on homepage as I'd gone directly to the page for the required bit of plastic. Home page says We are closed 1-14 May will send out on our return Also says that before their break they were running 1-2 weeks behind and were hoping to catch up!!!! Wish I'd seen the homepage BEFORE I spent my $33. Meh
16. Discreet, the costs of carriage are simply the subscriptions required for the gear tart club.
17. Just met up with Jonny at a service station, been an absolutely great, easy trade. The Streamliner is in fabulous condition and Jonny has been a great bloke to deal with. Completely recommended geezer. All the best with the Sept baby, and enjoy what sleep you have left Jonny Thanks for everything fella, cheers, Karl.
18. Gone thanks. Please expect a GB Streamliner 600 to be up next week, lol.
19.
I've got exactly the same bass as this but in different colour, and it is indeed a fabulous workhorse and the best Fender Precision I have ever owned, and I've had a fair few vintage ones over the years. I love the modern "C" neck profile Fender use on these basses with the 1.625 nut width . It's big enough to feel like a proper P Bass , but still small enough to be easily manageable for just about anybody who likes a slightly slimmer neck, too . All the hardware is top notch as well , so you don't need to upgrade anything . GLWTS
Nail>head
20. Beggars belief this is still here Lozz, amazingly great workhorse basses at a fabulous price. Top geezer as well. GLWTS Lozz hope you are ok fella.
21. Have I missed the"no trades" bit?
22. Be nice if more sellers actually gave you the OPTION of postage/courier. "Can't send it by courier because............................" How the f*** do you think it got here from America/Mexico/Japan in the first place you lazy sod
23.
It's also worth pointing out that new prices have risen, new financial year etc. Prices I was quoted a month or two back are now no longer valid...which is just how it is I guess!
Seeing this a lot with Fender, every year. For example, somebody bought an American Precision for £649 in 1996. You then see it here/Feebay whatever at £900 now. You can get a perfect 1 or 2 year old P for around £700! Very unlikely the 96 is going to sell. Google can be your friend, or not. The one that stuck out most to me a year or so back was people trying to sell Millers at £800 because the last of the Japanese ones had gone up to £1050. They weren't £1050 when they bought them 10 years before. Then they wonder why they don't sell. Oh, and still hoping for the chap on The Wirral to reduce his Desert Gold Bongo
24. You have a load of top quality basses. Nobody on here has tried every Fender made (although one or two of us are trying very hard ). I would advocate patience and going to try out every one that comes up within distance, until you find the one. I have had quite a few Mex. The really excellent ones I have had are the passive FSR I currently have (Jazz neck with black blocks, Precision body, P/J pups Bad a** 11), the active FSR I did have, the Antigua FSR, Nate Mendel and the Geddy jazz. In terms of American Precisions, I have had 4 of the 03/08 series, all with S1 switching. I never used the S1 but all 4 of those basses were excellent. As you well know, most basses in shops are not set up and trying any of them can put you off for life. Get one 2nd hand that has been set up for you. Have the patience to enjoy trying them out. Good luck.
25.
Marketplace posts are not included in the post count. Don't ask me why, because I don't know.
It's a good job they aren't Dad, I'd be on about 20, 000 Bump, excellent amps.
