1. Really nice looking bass Nick. What is the nut width please? Bump.
2. Stop that at once, some of us are trying to reduce numbers of basses
3. Oh, go on go on go on go on go on go on go on Furthering my campaign with the guitarses to do this ▶ The Sensational Alex Harvey Band ~ Delilah - YouTube
4. And a bank transfer may well take up to three days to clear with a European deal , so be aware.
5.
I reckon there'd have been an Oly White Telecaster Bass (mudbucker version) in there somewhere also?
Yup, one or two unmentionables with "stereo" outputs as well
6. Just been watching Sounds of the 70's on Yesterday, SAHB's Delilah still kills me. And loads of curly leads, yay!!!!
7. Curley's abundant on Yesterday this morning. Sounds of the 70's loads of the bands live from Whistle Test with curly leads. Still sound damn fine to me!
8.
Looks familiar? http://www.ebay.com/...em=281208865323 If they are in Leicester then it's a long way to go to Massachusetts for a church service and i'd hardly call it local. There are also taking a bit of a hit on the price because it went for nearly £1700 on ebay last month.
Well done Mssr Clouseau, er, Mr. Funk. Good work. As said, if it looks too good.............. Bugger
9. This re mastered thing may also be enjoyed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FBcz3tBH74
10. This seems a great price from the little I know. Far too close and far too tempting. Whadya reckon guys? 2009 KUBICKI FACTOR BASS - LAST WHITE ONE MADE - UNPLAYED PRISTINE CONDITION Leicester 2009 KUBICKI FACTOR BASS - LAST WHITE ONE MADE ...
11.
Clarky, why am I inexplicably drawn to this? Shame its missing its unique patented Framus pick up otherwise I might have been tempted!
Possibly because your medication has stopped working
12. Yowser, 2 cracking Gibbo's up. I need to avoid BC for a few days GLWTS Bump.
13.
These were standard, the ltd Ed was the brownburst Explorer for £700 still, these had the finish on them, so, no wear and tear. Lovely bass, practically a Tbird but for £900 I'd be over the moon ^_^
Quite a few places did advertise them as a Ltd Edition run in late 2011, not just these guys http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=7&ved=0CEIQFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.themusiczoo.com%2Fproduct%2F7223%2FGibson-Limited-Edition-Explorer-Bass-Silverburst%2F&ei=jNSxUpCULo3d7QaizIGQCw&usg=AFQjCNGouJjXowihK_1Ly0BlKWCJDLSfoA So, they will not be the easiest of basses to get hold of. Sorely tempted. Bump.
14. Think there were Ltd Edition? I know I was very sorely tempted at the time, having gigged an original 84 for twenty years, and loved it. The original didn't have the three point bridge. Where is West Sussex, near the Canary Islands? Great basses for ALL styles, GLWTS bump.
15. The following is done just bass, drums, guitard. Instantly recognisable to me (I SO want to do it!) Yes I am definitely a fanboi on this! ▶ Mr Big - Burn (Deep Purple cover - live instrumental) - YouTube
16. Think I'll Wimp le out of this one.
17.
First NBD for me in a while - here's the Eros Jazz, fresh from the (copious) cardboard & bubblewrap: Pleasantly surprised - under 40 years' grime, the neck's in very good condition, everything's original apart from the nut, no damage apart from the knocks & chips you'd expect. Cleaned up this will be a very nice example of a very early (black button tuners date it to around '71) Japanese Jazz copy. I may give it its own thread. J.
Interesting pups Jon?
18. You lot make a HABIT of bad jokes?
19. I would be asking Black Star (both our guitarses use them) if this is the sort of shop they want representing them. I would be letting Black Star know the problem with this equipment, and the handling of that problem, is being discussed by the flapper mouths of a 28,000 strong bass players community. A lot of whom work with a couple of guitarses. A little "picture painting" can go a long way.
20.
FFS! It's a bloody CONVENT!
So why did I live on NUNNERY Lane then, your bleedin' stroppiness
21. Just done a trade with Dougie today. Lovely bloke, decisive, helpful and the bass I got is amazing. So easy, thanks for everything Dougie. Deal with utmost confidence peeps (ps hope you enjoyed the Sabbs Dougie!) Cheers, Karl.
22. I know my back and temper both enjoy my S12V. If you don't like the look, sound, don't get one. Why the need for your tuppence worth. Vote, move on. If you don't like the look, don't get one. If you have never USED ONE YOURSELF, don't criticise. Some folk on here would cause a battle in a nunnery.
