1. Oh dear, I sold my Sea Foam Green one a few months back because it didn't seem to work as well with my Barefaced. Still regretting it, between me and it's previous owner it had done over 400 gigs! Fabulous piece of kit. GLWTS Martyn
2. Somebody please buy it, I'm weakening by the hour!
3. I have seen two Japanese used 75 RI's up for between £900 and £1000 of late. And they wonder why they don't sell. I only got £850 for my immaculate USA 75 RI.
4. Killer rig. I had one of these amps, loudest amp I have ever had and this is a bargain! GLWTS, Karl.
5.
Bet I laughed louder than you
If he gets £1800 he will definitely be laughing loudest
6. I really must stop looking at this wondrous beast as well, before I put yet another bass up for sale . Bump.
7. I genuinely laughed out loud reading this one! 1988 fender precision lyte bass guitar - gorgeous. Warwickshire
8.
I have never sent such a message, and don't plan to. However, there are auctions where the price is significantly out of whack. E.g. second hand items being sold for more than the new price. Items listed for double what they normally go for, or more. I just roll my eyes and move on, but I can imagine some potential buyers being frustrated that an item they would be prepared to pay a fair price for is 'available', but at an unrealistic price.
This, nail, head.
9. Don't know how anyone can just guess without trying them Sea foam green is very tempting as a paint job would be over £200 and Fender don't seem to be able to mix that colour any more. Tempting to buy just for the body.
10.
Really..? Better have four, then.
What, ANOTHER four
11. Keeps going down, it was £21k couple of months back.
12. My second one. Love it. Very clear, need to hit notes properly but the depth and width are IMO both between Jazz and P. Sound wise, you have a good amp with EQ? You get pretty much what you want. 13. Isn't that you Clarky, second from right ?
14. Hello Si, it is indeed the Custom distressed Status from Ebay. Built for James Stelfox (Starsailor) at the same time as Martin Blunt's (Charlatans). Think James pulled it when he realised the low BIN would be hurt be fees. This was one of the ones before Status started the Vintage Artist series. Rather close to the Guy Pratt one. Meanwhile, back at the Mex P Bass Special Deluxe series, lot's more PM's replied, this will probably be gone by the end of today. At least three are in the final throes of pushing the button. Cheers, Karl. GONE THANKS, to a chap from Bumtree.
15. Christoph has just bought my now ex AV 75 Jazz Re-Issue. When it comes to selling something outside of the UK I am reluctant as I once had a big problem. As a result of that I will only sell outside the UK if the buyer abides by my requests. Christoph was absolutely marvellous and frankly shames me that he can converse in English better than I can. So, EXCELLENT bloke, deal with utmost confidence, Christoph is a credit too himself. Enjoy the bass my friend and many thanks for being so decisive and organised. Cheers, Karl. Edit, nearly forgot Christoph, link to strings Status Graphite. The finest hand-made graphite basses and guitars. Made in England. 16. More PM's replied. Sorry folks, sale only. Cheers, Karl.
17. Top bloke, top bass, but not a top fisherman (sorry Bob, only joshin!) GLWTS and enjoy the fishing you lucky sod! Cheers, Karl.
18. Further pm's replied, thank you. In response to one comment, I think the price, either couriered or collected, is rather good for a bass that is really not that far off the American version. Right, brag alert. The following Status Custom is why this cracking Special Deluxe needs to go
19. Howard has just done me a brown tortie plate for my 2001 Sonic Blue Jazz. Wouldn't say it was a good job, but not sure I need to bother with putting the screws back in . And it looks the poodles privates. Top job, top product, very fast service. Many thanks Howard. As Arnie would say "I'll be back". Cheers, Karl.
20. Thanks chaps. It's a really excellent bass but I'm at the stage now where even a hidden keeper has to go. Simply because of some of the superb basses I've managed to get . All PM's replied to thanks, Karl.

22. This was supposed to have gone on Friday but he never showed. I am now at 5 basses and need to move one on. If this doesn't go in a few days at the REDUCED price of £850 collected, I will be putting up my US Sonic Blue and Mex Precision Special Deluxe (1998 passive P/J pups, factory P body, factory J neck). Whichever goes first, the other two will be removed. I very rarely reduce my price as I think I always sell a quality instrument at a fair price. Watch this space .
23.
Gawd - absolutely love these & you never see them. If I'd been on BC when this was available I'd have pawned all my JapCrap and my Granny for it! Jon.
Wa hay
