1.
I agree that sometimes people go daftly low on prices but then there's the flipside of some people really taking the mick and trying to sell there bass at a ridiculously high price in the 1st place
Quite agree and it's a comment I really should not have made . So, bump for a lovely bass and back on topic?

TRADED

WOW, 2 Bleached Blondes up for sale/trade at the same time As I understood it from Warwick, there were 250 x 4 strings made, and 77 x 5 strings made. GLWTS, Karl.
3. Darren, try Bumtree and Preloved. They will cost you nowt to try and there isn't quite as much competition there. I have sold three of my last 4 on there, not on here. It seems that with many basses on here the expectation is now to go daftly low. Often people wanting yours need to sell their's first which further complicates proceedings. Good luck, excellent bass, excellent price. Karl.
4. Gents he is not following this thread so you may be better sending him a pm. Good luck, Karl.
5. Was hoping for a deal with a very nice special Precision plus a couple of hundred my way but looks like that sadly may not happen now. So, bump for this very rare, superb quality beastie. Open to trade offers.
6.
well there had to be a catch somewhere, its not truely an 'Attitude' they were called a ATT-Plus M, 2002 only I think (?) and this one has had a J pup added and paint removed....even so quite a rare old thing...too far for me collection only. http://www.ebay.co.u...b#ht_292wt_1330
And me or she would be mine and Sea Foam Greened
7. Many thanks for the vid dood. Fantastic seeing Lol Creme again. 10cc were just an amazing band to listen to and see in the 70's. I remember them doing Newcastle City Hall. They started "I wanna be a boss", then Lol just pulled the band to a stop. " I've forgotten the ******* words". The place erupted in laughter. Sorry for thread hijack.
8. Good track, good bass, good luck. Bump.
9.
Karl I must insist you cease and desist immediately! Why you have so many nice bass??
Sorry Tim Hope the AV62RI is working out for you. Cheers, Karl.
10. Can't really afford the new ones at the moment Gareth, but the second hand one at £760 was do able. Mind, doesn't mean to say I won't be saving my pennies and asking for a Sea Foam Green in the future Lot of gigs coming up, will need my part of the band account to NOT show a profit
11.
All PM's replied to and thank you for your interest, just awaiting for a response from someone to help out a BC member! Karlfer behave after months of wanting I had just talked myself out of a GL, its like red rag to a bull!
12.
depends if it is in a fancy shaped mold is it like this? from what i understand the number of nodules around the top can have significant impact on the harmonic overtones whereas a plain round mold will probably give you a bit more of a P sound
13. Rather liked the Bongo to say the least. Loved the video, missed it first time round. Even the slap was quite nice and didn't make me want to put a pitchfork through both my ears.

...

We have had discussions about this lovely Fender and a couple hundred sovs for my Bleached Blonde Ltd Thumb. Thing is Tom, the only time I'm on fire now is when Her Who Makes Toast By Breathing On Warburton's gets the little effigy out (NOT a euphemism)
15.
Ok, ill look forward to that, lets hope it goes well! Im looking for close as ive seen tatty ones go for around £650
Good thing you are looking for sale only as I was going to offer my Geddy including case, plus £150. Which completely renders useless my attempts to get to two basses Again, don't usually comment on price, but that is a very fair price being asked. GLWTS, Karl.
16.
I agree it's a very good price, just a bit more than i have at the moment. If it's still here when i can afford it I'll snap it up Always the case; when I've got money, there's no basses, when there's basses, there's no money lol. Ben.
Amen to that brother, amen to that And to make things worse, my ideal Precision (USA, Maple board, Lake Placid Blue) has just come up on Bumtree. I really MUST stop looking
17. Thanks for the comments gents. Sorry Ben, no idea. They appear to be the same as on the Japan models, which were made for 14 years. It looks like whatever the blocks are, they appear to be under the fretboard lacquer. You certainly can't feel the blocks. Seems to me the couple of Japan Geddy's that came up a while back at around £450 seem to make this look a bit expensive. I generally don't comment on price, but apart from the infuriating cymbal incident, this is immaculate and only a year old. They were both to say the least a bit mojo'd and neither of them were the more expensive sunburst. So, as against a new "real" price of £760, I think £530, or £560 with Gator hard case is VERY fair. Cheers, Karl.

19. You have some wonderful basses there sir. The Honey being another one of them GLWTS Bump.
20. "What's it sound like?" With the Thumb being a lot of Maple with Swamp Ash, it is of course a bit brighter but that chest thumping Thumb noise is in there. Especially bright top end as I have just put some new strings on However, it has typical deep Warwick growl. Volume is push/pull for active/passive. Pup pan with me is nearly always round to the front pup. With bass and treble actives full on it is bloody thunderous. More pissed off P than Jaco, but obviously with amp/eq, most things can be coaxed out of it. Quite nice for chain saw murderer power chords though It is a very light bass and very well balanced, just didn't realise with 24 frets I don't know where I am on the 'board half the time. It is a lot of money, but they don't come up often. Despite the deflated prices of Warwicks on Basschat, it's a purdey thing to have on a stand behind me at gigs in case of a broken string. And I will happily do that rather than lose a lot on it. Cheers, Karl.
21. BBOT = bent bit of tin, or put another way, standard Fender bridge. In this case off a Mexican re-issue. Not everybody likes BadAss bridges and some remove them and replace with a standard bridge. Then they sell the BadAss for a fortune Bump.
22. They do look damn good and all the important parts are there. A clue on price wouldn't go amiss, I always think "less is unsurprisingly more"
