1. Sorry Chris. The sunburst one photographed on this thread was paulies. I think that one has been sold. When I get my black one back from the luthier where it is getting serviced, my black one will be up for sale. That is the black one that I sent you a photo of this morning. I'm getting confused now
2.
If not, Karlfer is selling a black one of these.
Many thanks for that Graham. I did actually remove the Glaub from sale as I was using it every gig . However, I have literally just got a Glaub back I had before and Tim who had it, put a Lollar Jazz Pup on it. One will probably be up for sale later in the week. The one that was for sale is currently getting serviced as we finally have a couple of weeks between gigs (drummer on hol). I'm rambling now aren't I I have been in touch with Chris but thanks for thinking of both of us. Cheers, Karl.
3. And Tim and I have just done a deal involving him getting my AV62 RI (when will I ever learn I don't get on with rosewood ) and me getting my old Glaub back. Top, top fella, can't say any more. Enjoy Tim and many thanks again. Karl.
4. Somebody north of border is going to get lucky. Cheap because he is moving house and needs rid quick! RARE Trace Elliot 5-string T-Bass Govanhill, Glasgow
5. Yup, wonderful looking bass but I'm about to put my AV62RI Stack Knob up for fractionally less then this one is out at . And it's Japanese!
6. I've never seen one before, looks a bit of a bitsa? Way overpriced IMHO, but I like it. Preloved | fender hollow p bass cij tele jazz f hole for sale in West Yorkshire, Yorkshire
7. Come on you lot, get this bought so that he puts his 60th Anni P up
8. Sorry Mel, I really wanted a pop at this gorgeous bass but in three weeks no takers for my Glaub, so I'm out. Good luck kiddo, it's a belter. Karl.
9. Hurry up and get this bought peeps before I start an ad for my AV62RI Stack knob. This Sadow really is superb! Bump.
10. So, at before God o'clock this morning I mailed Tim asking if he had a spare Glaub scratchplate (I knew he had ). He took it to work, we met at his work, it's now on my Glaub. Top man Tim, thanks so much fella, really appreciated. Brilliant guy! Karl.
11.
Just so you know. The Bob Glaub has a wide nut. If you want a jazz nut on a lakland P you're looking for a Duck Dunn
The Glaub actually is made with both 1.75 inch and 1.5 inch nut width, although the narrower nut is rare over here.
12. No probs Peter, just thought a black AV62R1 Stack Knob may have appealed as they are a bit tasty. GLWTS, cheers, Karl.
13. Hiya Quatschmacher. Just in case this hasn't gone in the next half hour . I have a black 62 American Reissue, stack knob, rosewood board, tortie plate, made 2002. Sadly it is in my luthiers getting set up, cleaned and serviced (pots, pups etc) and no doubt he won't have finished it tomorrow when I ring. Sadly can't even do photos. Good condition, a few tiny scratches. Would be looking to that plus £350 your way for the Sadow, which is my dream combo. So, just in case yours is around in a couple of days thought I'd through the hat in. Cheers, Karl.
14.
Hey can you put up some more detailed pics of the wear n stuff?
Yeah, we tried asking for that 3 weeks ago A serial number or year of manufacture wouldn't go amiss either. You wanna sell, you gotta sell!
15.
all current PB70s on the fender japan site are either alder or ash, even if they aren't the US model. don't know if this is the same for older models,
It ain't
16.
I'm sure you will get your asking price with a bit of patience. It might be worth putting it up on Gumtree also. I've had a fair bit of luck selling on there recently. The market is just so depressed at the moment. It's a good price for what is a very nice mid-range Jazz. Ten times better than a Squier, but for the same money !
Put it on Bumtree, my last two went from there, not here, (including a cut price Alembic at £1000). £240 for a jazz as good as this is an excellent bargain, just should not be here anymore. GLWTS
17. Like most Precisions throughout the decades, there is really little difference. Both 70's RI's have 40 mm nut and the larger TV friendly logos. The US will have alder and US pups, same as the PB62-**US. They will be stamped US in the neck pocket if that is what they are.
18. There are some stupid prices out there in FEEBay land, and they wonder why they don't sell Then you get a shop which leads the rest of the terminally optimistic by example. The last one of the following I saw, went for less than half of this! Newly listed FENDER USA 50th anniversary precision bass [ 2001 ] butterscotch , p-bass
19. Half hearted bump. Used this bass for our last three gigs. If only it were white. Shallow, moi?
20. Excellent price, excellent bass, GLWTS bump, Karl.
21. I may be wrong but isn't the one designated PB70-**US made of alder, and the non US designated model made of basswood?
