1. Friday night, just calmed down Bikers pub, good bank holiday forecast, bikers gone, 35 peeps in. Drummer (main backing vocals) lost voice Lighting rig, refused point blank to work, despite plug, socket, fuse changes. Tiny stage, my elbow against pillar all night, now black and blue. Half inch square lump of paint taken out of my Yamaha by aforementioned pillar D string broke 4th number in Muppet guitarist started Freebird with a D instead of G. And all for fun
2. All pm's replied to in chronological order. Just awaiting confirmation about being on hold. Happy birthday Marc, it's paired with a Barefaced Super 12 V. It sounds really good but I just fancy a change (again ) Not as bad as last year, I'd had 5 between Jan and May last year
3. OK, GAS on basses is gone. Now I fancy a change of amp , cos that's the way it is, Fancy going back to Orange Bass Terror, but also fancying a try of EA I amp 500 or 800. So, my Shuttle 6 up for sale, complete with Genz Benz gig bag and footswitch, or trade for above. Very good condition, couple of little paint scratches. Was professionally serviced in February. Shuttle Series | GENZ BENZ £350 collected from Wigan, another £20 insured courier, mainland UK only. 4. Rockinbetter Marc, it will be a good un, and top geezer to deal with peeps
5. Top bloke. Top bass. Just buy it, especially at this price peeps. Absolute classic, don't make Martyn have to get rid of any of his Wick's. Good luck fella bump.
6. Hiya Marc, 99% certain it's a Rockinbetter Mark11, possibly Korean but more likely a later Chinese. Whilst the ones on that Trade Tang or whatever site it is, are nice in the pics, they are made down to a price spec. Customers may also not get what they see in the pictures!!!!!! Rockinbetters in general seem to made to a very good spec indeed, whether made in the same factory or not. Plenty of people have had Rockinbetters and like them but I am still to be convinced they have any actual link to Tokai. None the less, the Rockinbetters are bloody good basses. Especially if you modify them with Rick pups Good luck, Karl.
7. 8. I have now seen Mr. bagsieblue's Warwicks, and VERY nice they are too, especially the Dolphin, bump
9. Respect Steve, I know some of your CV. Cheers 4 Strings, whilst I don't slap, some of what you are saying is working out with this phenominal bass. I tend to use chords or tapping on the solo parts but the actives on this bass just make it so easy to put the final part of eq boost to do what I need. Must admit, the lead part rather than the solo would benefit from the othe ham fists backing off just a tad
10.
Karl, Two things: 1 - They let you do solo's?? - and 40 seconds worth??? 2 - Stunning bass...
Cheers Martyn, it is bloody amazing. AND I'm up to 1.5 minutes now with a Billy Sheehan piece
11.
My fav Fender colour. For the record Mr bagsieblue is a top banana and is excellent to deal with, and if you ask him nicely he'll show you his Warwicks. Can I say that on a Sunday?
My eyes, my eyes
12. Many thanks folks, but this rather seems to have helped
13. Saw this before Christmas, just amazing. Loved Heart since Dreamboat Annie, done Crazy On You on and off for over 30 years. Alone is still one of the best pop/rock ballads EVER done!
14. This would have gone well over a week ago. It really would be worth your while going to Halford's and getting an empty bike box, and B and Q/ Post Office for some bubble wrap. Buyers would happily pay the courier fees. I certainly would have, well over a week ago. As things are at the moment people need to put a bit of effort into selling basses. You are making it hard for yourself by effectively cutting out 70% of the population. Sadly I have missed out on this one and now bought something else. GLWTS
15. Active/passive mini toggle? Can't see one and they weren't original spec on these, they were only active. Still fabulous basses and rare in that colour. They were bloody hard to get hold off, mine was Teal Green, had to wait months for it and that was the only colour I could get, short of a one year plus wait!
16. Music is irritating me. Hey ho. Now, Fanny, THEY were a proper girl band
17. Leave it for the young un's Rich, it's a spine severing 85lbs
18. 6 hours after I agreed a deal on something else , I'm lucky like that. It will go soon enough, these are marvellous basses, light, very powerful, comfortable to play and a massive tonal range. GLWTS, Karl.
19. So he's dropped it £50 and is open to sensible offers. That is a very good price for a Berg 410
20. Quite fancy giving one of these a go because apparently the presets are superb. That takes out idiots messing about with mids (me!). You are very local to me as well. Don't suppose you fancy a straight swap for my GB Shuttle 6, with gig bag and footswitch do you? Didn't think so but had to ask Will see if I can get mine up for sale quick enough, bump.
21. Bergantino HS410 Bass Amp Cabinet/ Bass Amplifier Cab Derbyshire Just in case anybody is looking. Nowt to do with me, just saw it when looking for Orange Bass Terror.
22. Jeezo, another thread locked. Can't get your teeth into anything round here
23. Hello Attila. I know there was a bit of discussion on this wonderful bass on the Warwick site but it seems to have gone. What is the serial number please? (feel free to PM me if you are not happy about the serial number in the public domain). Cheers, Karl.
