Thanks lads, very tempted and it's only 20 miles away. Going to have a think, but if it goes, well, no prob. Reality is there is a rather rare Warwick on here that I have my eye on. The last one very similar went on FEEBay for £475. I would go to £600, but he is wanting quite a bit mpore than that and I ain't gonna lowball him. Decisions decisions

Paul has been absolutely great to deal with. Very decisive, did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. Even took the trouble to ring up and say he was delighted with the bass. Heartily recommended peeps, deal with confidence. All the best Paul and many thanks.

I recently got a bass in a trade. Fender Deluxe P body with a Status neck, I call it my Fender Stat. The neck is an absolute revelation frankly. As others have said, improved stability, sustain, harmonics, even- ness and a complete joy to play. My US Precision and Lakland DJ4 have been my back up basses but I don't think they will ever get the chance to gig anymore since this arrived.

You see this all the time. Latest I noticed was a 4 year old Highway1 at £850. Good thing we don't have to buy isn't it

Right, stop it, you are all being silly Serious answer, go to basses for sale forum and do a search for American deluxe 5 string jazzes. Do the same on FEEBay and draw your own conclusions. Arrive at a ball park figure then make your own decision about how much the signature is worth to YOU. Remember, if you come to sell it, the signature is unlikely to make it worth much more. I really wanna do Coz I luv u with twin guitars taking the violin parts, but guitards won't have it . That thumping Gibbo with Jim attached to it in so many tracks is just wondrous stuff!
