  1. Absolute joy to deal with, quick, decisive, likeable guy. Thanks for everything Johann, all the best.
  2. 😆 It's the wrong Candy Gromit. Long time no see Martin, guess you've been a bit busy this year. Thanks for helping folk & keep safe mate.
  3. Cheers Mark, hope you guys are ok. See you on the other side of this plague fella.
  4. Cheers Paul Yeah, lots of stuff like this, being a knock on from lockdowns. Anticipate the joy 😄 Thanks Simon, that's really kind of you , cheers.
  5. Un-opened pack, never got to use them. £13 includes second class postage, mainland UK. Cheers, Karl.
  6. Cheers Lloyd, hope all is well fella. Cheers Brian, they are a bit good. Hope your mod is as splendid as mine. 🙂
  7. If folk can put Fender Japan basses at £1k+ & Fender Mexico at £800+................... I need to raise some cash, however not yet desperate. With slowly increasingly arthritic fingers, I doubt I'll play a P size neck live again, so this is an expensive home toy. Original owner bought it for £1099 in Dec 2016. I'm the second owner. This is the version with the fabulous Custom Shop pick up & it's the second best P I've ever played. The last model American Standard before changing to American Pro. As new as far as I can see, weight is just on 9lb. Comes with black 'plate, original tortie 'plate included. Recent set up & strings. PART TRADES only 2 really considered; Mexican player series + £550 to me YAMAHA BB714BS (either colour) + £500 to me. I will meet halfway (as I have done with recent deals with folk in Minehead & Colchester). Sorry, I don't have a box to courier. IF BUYER WANTS IT HOLDING FOR A WEEK OR TWO, happy to take a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of £50. As might be seen by the advert, bit reluctant on more than one level 🙂 Apologies for the awful photos, it really is unmarked as far as I can see.
  8. Crazy low price for one of these fabulous basses. GLWTS
  9. John Torres was a legendary neck maker with known work certainly in the 70's & 80's
  10. My Elite Jazz is the best I've ever played. This is helped by; Ki0gon totally passive loom, with series/parallel switch & stack knobs ala '60 Jazz. This mod made a superbly playable jazz an immense sounding one.
  11. I sold this bass a few years back, those lacquer cracks have never moved. The original owner from Leigh had taken the neck off " to have a look" & over tightened when putting it back on. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BASS & that price is a steal. Good luck Mark.
  12. Fabulous amp, far too good for scum like me 😁😆 Top bloke this Alfie fella, you know it will be good kit well looked after and at a good price. Glwts Phil.
  13. Fabulous amps. Superb price.
  14. Perhaps Bumtree or FeeBay. I'm certain I've seen it before. There again, I'm old & usually confused 😚
  15. This was tempting me when it was on Faecesbook. Tried to get @bagsieblue 's off him for year & the rat sold it very quickly when I was skint for 3 days. Yes, You Martyn 😬😆 Surf Green re-fin, hmmm. I'm going to Leominster in two weeks, a lot closer than Darlington.
  16. Amazed this super quality boutique cab is still here Phil, especially with a sale price about the same as a Gen 2 Barefaced Super 12. I know the Berg's I've had have always "felt" Rolls Royce compared to Barefaced Porsche, if that makes any sense? Fabulous cabs.
  17. Cheers. Still a bit too much for my glass spine 🙁. GLWTS
  18. Hell's bells, some fabulous basses up at the moment. What does this beauty weigh then ( we all know the Gibbos are made of dark matter).
  19. Lovely, shame you are so far away.
  20. He's not been on here since May 1st. I'm fairly sure this is the one at £750 BIN on Ebay. It doesn't have the original case & it looks like the candy could be awol. However, I'm struggling not to hit the BIN, as I'm 99.9999% sure this is my old bass & it's a belter. Compound neck & fretboard are superb, great tonal variations. Might look a bit like this (when it starts) 😉
  21. Now I know why prices are daft high on Reverb, as they are on Feebay.
