1. Reduced to £500 collected, £530 couriered (after funds clear). No joy at this price it will go on FEEBay.
2.
I would be so all over this if I hadn't bought my Stingray, ADB200 and cab in the last 3 months... Alas. I am approximately 350 notes light for it! Someone should snap this up!
Shame, I would have happily driven to Chester to drop it off, free of charge. Forgot to mention I will deliver myself between about Stoke and Leeds (approx 50 miles radius of Wigan), at no charge. Sorry, but East Sussex is a tad too far . Thanks for the bumps guys. It needs to go, so probably higher price on FEEBay next week. Cheers, Karl.
3. Pete's a great bloke to deal with. If I hadn't just got a Schroeder 410, this would be mine. ESPECIALLY at that price!!! You will be getting a bargain because of his situation.
4. I know the 5 basses is enough, I'm about to be on 6, and the Mrs's hit list
5. Hello Si. Working on the principal you can only tell me to boil my nethers, any chance straight swap for a Lakland Bob Glaub? I would prefer to sell the Lakkie, but I'm weak . Good luck regardless and bump. Karl.
6. Loads of different types/sizes available http://www.billyclarke.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=355_662&products_id=3931&zenid=0bef9dfcf7aee9e4f83a79f35b7d2982
7. Westhoughton? Westhoughton? Luxury. Us in Whelley dream of Westhoughton
8. Try Northwest bands website as well as the usual Bandmix, Joinmyband and Forming bands.Notice boards in studios/rehearsal gaffs are usually ok. I had been here 4 years and not bothered with playing, bands etc. Then I made an effort and got sorted with one quite quckly, then got an audition with a gigging band and I'm still there. Only time I go out on a night is when we are gigging. I'm guessing you are somewhat younger than my 54 years, so you should find something quite quickly . Very good luck and let us ALL know how you get on! Cheers, Karl.
9. Hello Greggo and welcome to this fantastic forum. As a person also living in Wigan I must inform you there are few pies here , however it's a fantastic site, loads of great advice, research material, technical and technique, and quality gear for sale. I feel it is my duty to warn you of the Terminal GAS. You will suffer like the rest of us . All the best and enjoy, Karl.
10.
Ooh you gear tart you, wanna swap anything while you're on? Lol.
Yeah, what are we going to mutually rent to each other this month Lloyd
11. Apologies Roonjuice, I deleted it after 6 days. As you had been on Basschat several times in that period and had not responded, I just presumed you were not interested. Sadly all too often people dont respond to PM's. Very good luck with your sale, very nice bass. Karl. Oh, and bump
12. PM replied, sorry, no trades, fundraiser for FenderBird. Issues. Lakland Bob Glaub, 1 scratch on back, some light swirling on back (in the right light). The fretboard marker stickers (Sheehan style) peel off leaving no residue. Some photos now up. Cheers, Karl Karl.
13. Anybody who I've dealt with knows as a fan of The Ox, I've been after a FenderBird for a long time. Still need a bit more funding Lakland Skyline, Bob Glaub, black, black, maple, excellent condition, with Ritter gigbag, plus spare red tortie plate and original mint green (aged white effect). £500 collected from Wigan, £530 couriered after funds clear. Very light bass compared to average Fender. Sorry, NO PAINPAL, UK buyers only. Anybody local welcome to try, please read my feedback at the bottom of the page. Any questions welcome. 14.
Still no pics!
Think yourself lucky, I've been waiting 9 days for the courtesy of a reply to a PM. Go and buy that green warmoth tele, before I get any weaker.
15. My perfect bass, such a shame no part exchanges. Good luck Anybody fancy a black Bob Glaub?
16.
Lucky I messaged him before they took it down then isn't it?
Hope it's not that Ibby with the mudbucker, in Chesire with action you could drive a hoss n cart under
17.
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27cb10b11e
With that word in the ad. Bye bye.
18.
Unfortunately the mobile version doesn't show the location. I suspect Cosmo is using that theme!
Ah, all becomes clear!
19.
I see he's upgraded from 'Master Guitar Bodger' to 'Master Guitar Fixer'.
I've pretty much resisted the urge to lambast, however the above quote says it all really. On about Back To The Future at one stage wasn't he?
20. Don't you love it when people really make an amazing effort!
21. You see Tony Bones, I think you know very well that Cosmo is based in Darford, cos it says so just below his avatar . But, you thought, I'll get some clever dicky from Wigan to point this out, then he will bump it . Seriously though, very good looking and spec'd bass, goood luck.
22.
Decal surrounds / edges look unlike any Fender I have owned (4 from 1977) or any Fender I have seen (countless). Caveat emptor m'lud.
Which decal, there seems to be every one ever know on it.
23. Of no note to me, but it will be to some. Is yours, like mine, very light. If so let folk know, there's a few of us coffin dodgers who like light basses. Good luck, cracking basses.
24. Lloyd is a gear tart of the highest order, a fellow gear tart salutes you . This man has great gear, looks after it with a fanatical devotion and is jolly good to deal with. I should know . Good luck fella. Bump.
25. I've had a looksie at this here bass and it is joyous, especially at that price. On top of that Loz is a top dood, so let's see it gone peeps. Don't be missing out on a cracker at a great price.
