1. We will do around 50 this year, 10 booked in for next year. Our excellent drummer does the bookings and boy is he tenacious. 4 of the gigs booked for next year are in places he has been trying to get into for 3 years.
2.
just turn it up , twiddle some knobs and enjoy.............
This
3. This is only up whilst the 2 white Marcus Millers are up. If they go first this is withdrawn. As it says, it's the 2008 model which has high mass bridge, graphite rods, rolled fingerboard, string through bridge. Just been professionally set up and fret dressed as a couple of frets were too high. White, tortie plate, rosewood fretboard. Pics soonish. Good but not perfect condition. Looks immaculate from the front but there are a few tiny dinks, non through the wood. There are also some scrapes at the back of the top horn, don't know if they will photograph. £650 collected from Wigan, £675 couriered to you. Bank transfer or cleared cheque, sorry, no PAINPal and UK ONLY. Please see my feedback near the bottom. Fender gigbag included, anybody close enough please come and try. Cheers, Karl. Will trade for a White Marcus Miller.
4. Cheers lads. Yeah, put him in recommended section a year or two back, he really is excellent. He has asked if he can have a look at my Yam Attitude as he's had a request to make a custom left handed one. I've gone through the spec on mine and a real one, dead chuffed to be asked to be honest. This white P was taken in a trade and I was going to flog it as I have serious Marcus Miller GAS. May not bother now .
5. Currently looking at off licenses to turn over to buy this. Really looking for a Marcus Miller but that is such a great price for an Alembic, sigh.
6. So, bass been in with Ritchie Tomson, Wigan for a week. He is a maestro. Got the call to pick it up this morning. Goes in and I'm sure I heard mutterances about baboon fisted amateur bass players . One dual action truss rod tweek, one set up, a bit of hanging off the wall to let the graphite rods re-adjust, and one bit of fret dressing later, PERFECTA CHEESE . Asked the scary question, how much???? He calmly answered that as I almost single handedly keep him employed, £35. Cheers Ritchie, baboon man will undoubtedly see you soon. Karl. THANKS for all the sage advice chaps, I'm such a talentless wuss.
7. Really must get my white USA Precision back from the luthier so I can sell it and get one of the White Millers that are up. Bump for an excellent bass.
8. How can anybody buy a bass of somebody who says they are "happy to take PAINPal"
9. Not even I could arse it up that bad. Art it is you visionless ones you
10.
C'mon - who wouldn't pay £1800 for a Firepleglo Ricky????
Me. At least he doesn't say all original. Funny isn't it, Rick's don't appear to be selling yet used prices seem to be going up . Mind, wish I could afford Beedster's
11. Difficult one as he can quite easily slag you of on social media etc, needs careful handling. Not that I would ever be able to teach, but I'd do the cowardly sneaky thing "sorry young fella, haven't got any vacant slots at the moment, ring me back in 2020, er, sorry, next week".
12.
There is meant to be a new documentary about him to be released next month . " Jaco " , directed by Stephen Kijak , and financed by Robert Trujillo ( of Metallica ) a lifelong fan . - Looking forward to that .....
+1000
13. Excellent easy transaction. Great comms, fast delivery, top piece of kit, great bloke. Thanks for everything Chris, cheers, Karl.
14. Should this be different colours March 1975 **VINTAGE** RICKENBACKER BASS GUITAR - Mode...
15.
Karlfer' This bloody thing is haunting my dreams MB1. Cheese Toasties before bedtime is never advisable! BUMP.
Oh yes it is (first to start this years Panto?? ) Bump.
16. Last couple of years been looking for "my amp". TDS650, Eden Nemesis 700, SWR Pro 350, Ashdown Klystron 500. Orange Bass Terror 500, ABM 500, TC Staccato 450, and GB Shuttle 600. Liked all the above, loved the GB. Now got a second one but that's going . Was offered a GB Shuttle 9 for my Schro 1515L, can't wait for it to arive . Each to their own, but I love the GB Shuttle. Power, clarity, well built, simple eq that even a muppet like me can use. It provides me with a sound that can go from Ralphs, to JPJ, to Steve Harris just by using the controls on the bass. Love 'em.
17. At a guess this is an old thread. He may have started new ones at a reduced price, instead of bumping this one. Be gentle, it will all be allright in the end
18. Hello again wavey one. Putting my white American P up next week, if that goes in time I will be in touch. This bloody thing is haunting my dreams
19. Somebody buy this quick. I'm putting mine up soon and it will look expensive compared to this one. They are however superb amps.
20. Yup, get learning and get out there! Good luck and enjoy.
21. It's £400 in his other ad, but pictures ain't come through on that either. I had one of these in the 90's simple, powerful, well made basses.
22. One screw is missing from the neck plate, it's not the only one mate!
