1.
hahaha
Stop that you Bottom Wash-ist . Bump, don't want to look at this as I'm weakening by the day!
 2. Used. Only new guitars are those delivered from distributor to customer, or that have been in a shops storage without being on display. IMO.
 3.
Ha! Yes reasonable price all things considered, wonder how far it will go? If I hadn't just bought a '77 in similar condition I'd certainly have a punt at this - although I paid rather less for mine .
Wish I knew where you've done your shopping for the last few years Ash
 4. Brilliant place this. Thanks lads, I bottled it and I'm so glad I did. Cheers, Karl.
 5.
Hi Karl, There's a gig bag which goes with it.... Cheers James
Thanks James, Wonderful bass, thinking carefully at the moment but regardless, good luck, Karl.
 6. Perfection. I remember lusting for this when you first go it. Now, I need to do 6 more gigs to top up my bass money to this level The 6th is July the 6th. Anybody wanting this, you have been warned and the clock is ticking . Oh, and bump.
 7.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330717139432 Does he have a thing for white '78 P's... hmmmm starting to smell a rat here... Looking at his feedback he's bought a VM Neck, Squier body and Fender tuners in the last 12 months......
8.
Does that make it a Fender Incision?

Does that make it a Fender Incision?
9. Is there a case, gig bag included James? Cheers, Karl.
 10. Cheers Yorick, that's about what I thought, especially the rocketting bit .
 11. If the price doesn't go too daft may well have a punt on this Sid-a-like, but apart from the declared hossing about, what do you reckon folks? Ta, Karl. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330733015318?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
 12. Alan has just bought a bass off me. He is a really lovely fella, and a REAL PROFESSIONAL musician. Yes, he makes his living at it. Respect ! Decisive, did what he said he would do and even managed to find me despite Basschat (and more importantly messages) being down. That was really impressive. My immense thanks for that. 5 other people were after this bass, all in various stages of waffling. Alan got on with it and bought it. Deal with utmost confidence. Enjoy Alan. all the best, Karl.
 13. Pie Jesu, Brightman and Miles-Kingston. CD on computer whilst doing invoices. Hawkwind next methinks. Great being your own gaffer
 14. Again in response to questions, recently had a full professional set up by Ritchie Thompson, Thompson Guitars, Wigan. Ritchie is a wizzard. This included new 45-105 Status Premium strings, new Switchcraft jack socket, action/intonation/pick up set up. Cheers, Karl.
 15. In response to questions, these were all Alder bodies. According to Fender forum most of Duck's legendary work was done on two 1958 Precisions, a maple board and a rosewood board. This is obviously based on the maple boarded one. One of these Japanese signature basses (presumably serial number 1 or 2 ) is glimpsed fleetingly in the hands of the Duck in The Blues Brothers film. Finally, yes, £550 in my eyes it's worth at least as much as a Geddy, or a Mexican 50's P bass. Cheers, Karl.
 16.
Hey Karl mate! Yeah, gutted that it's come to this but moving abroad isn't cheap and I'm not using it. It's still in the same condition as when I got it from you. I hope all's well with you!
I would be well-er if I had £1300
 17.
Did you swap through the Yamaha Attitude Facebook page? andy
Yup, with me Andy. He got that Blue Mark 1, I got Col's Purple X Anniversary. He's a top player and singist as well .
 18. The three who wanted to but this on Saturday appear to have lost interest . The great man himself apparently had Serial numbers 1 and 2 of this bass, (Fender forum) this is number 231 of 1000. All made in 1998. No gospel, but I did read somewhere that three special runs were made out of the same factory in 1998, the first Geddies, first Marcuses and the only run of these. Obviously the Lee and Millers are still produced to this day, the Duck's aren't! Hopefully a real Fender expert may be able to confirm what I think I read (or deny it, in which case I will remove this gut feeling). Cheers, Karl.
 19. Last night was my first gig with my new (well, all new to me but all bits 6 years old) rig. 2 EBS NEO 212's and an EBS TD650 head. All much bigger than the mini power rigs I've gigged for the last couple of years. What a sound, what a difference. Absolutely adored it, great punch, clarity and much idiotic grinning. It's a compromise of course. I would love the 8 x 10's, as much as I would love the roadie and pantechnicon to go with them . Karl.
 20.
Look what you have done! :-(
Her Who Makes Toast By Breathing On Bread said the same
 21. Many thanks Gary. The gentleman in question has just tried similar tactics with a prominent member of the forum. That prominent member, being wiser than me, has cancelled the deal. I may be out of order, but judging from Mr. Piotrowski's wanted adverts, and the number of basses he is showing on gear porn, he may be a dealer of some description. The Kasuga he bought off me now appears to be sporting a white scratchplate and pick up surround as well as replacement pick up selector toggle.
