A very keen price that. I've been thinking mine might go at some point, though every time I play it I dismiss the idea! I won't be offering mine up so cheap. The passive ones are hard to come by too. I've never seen another for sale. I remember the thread well. They are great basses. Much like a pre-cursor to the original Highway Ones, except built in Mexico, with the choicest parts. Oh. And painted proper
Yeah, may be a bit off on price. There was a Black one on the Bay few weeks back at £495. A studio in Hull if I remember right. Don't know if it sold but it's never been back up. I reckon £370 is realistic for a quickish sale, to keep "Her Who Makes Toast By Breathing On Bread" off my case. Karl.

After years of trying I've got my hands on a Kasuga R$$k copy. As a result I'm at five basses, it's one bass goes,, or my conkers! This is a bass that was only made for about 3 years, being replaced with the active Mexican PJ deluxe. It is a Mexican bass but I know there is a thread on here a year or so back, extolling there virtues. Not Gospel but I seem to remember the thread saying something like first choices of wood into the plant, American hardware and pups, American bass assembled and painted in Mexico. Hopefully will either find the thread or somebody will put me right. What I do know is this; White P body, P/J config, currently black scratchplate but original anodised gold coloured plate included. PASSIVE. String through body bridge. Maple factory JAZZ neck, maple fretboard. Easy truss rod adjustment on headstock end. Status flatwounds on at moment. Issues, small paint chips either side of neck pocket, couple of little chips on the fretboard, G string side. Please read my feedback below. Will come with tatty gig bag. Sale only please.£370 collected, £390 couriered. Will deliver FREE within 50 miles of Wigan. Questions, fire away. Crap mobile phone photo's up within couple of hours. (Done, apologies that's as good as I get.
This one was made a few years ago, had quite a few fans at the Moffat Bass Bash. Fenmanbacker, Jazz neck 21 frets for that high E, solid maple body and a MM pickup!
Whoa, seriously nice
Tried shooting an offer to the email address? Will save them feees and they clearly aren't having much luck with ebay. Or make me an offer on my CMI, and I'll get on with sorting the nut out.
Forum rules, you must include a price . Seriuosly though many thanks for your help Mr. Foxen.
hmmmm, this would be nice in the build im planning, or would i prefer a model p?
Listen to Sheehan ( something like the Burn solo), listen to a normal P then decide. The Will Power is a major reason why the Attitude is really loud and growly. After you've done all that, buy mine . Cheers, Karl. -
Another Kasuga: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item256dcf332c
Thanks for the links Mr Foxen, desperately trying to get one of these. The natural has been pulled for a second time, the other one, for the first time. Sadly both appear to want stupid money (£500+) for a bolt on. I won't go that far (not too far short mind ) Karl.

Just handed my Classic Klystron to Billy, of Ravenface. 114,000 hits and counting for their new vid, Gig at Hammerfest and writing some bloody good metal. Anyway, lovely guy to deal with, easy transaction, recommended. Enjoy the amp and Hammerfest Billy and dont forget me when you are famous. Good luck bud, you know where I am. Karl.
Cheers Karl, I do like it, though it was done on a budget, just to try the concept out - £130 for the Epi Thunderbird (less what I got for the neck when I sold it), a MM neck I had sort of lying around, plus a bit of machining for the pocket. Result. I liked it so much, however, I've spent a bit more on it: Hipshot Supertone bridge, Hipshot superlites (inc.Xtender), rewire (inc.pull-serial pot) and SD pickups. It'll be finished by the end of the week - I'll post more pics then. I've also got a really nice Lakland birdseye maple neck awaiting another Thunderbird body, so I can start all over again...
Soooooo, you'll need to find funding for the LakBird, so bagsy first dibs on the one in your photo. Cheers, Karl.
Hmmm, not sold on that one, to be honest, but on the Fenderbird front, I'm a fan - if he can make a good one like this, I'd be in....
Hmmm, Oldham you say, now, where's that electoral roll . Seriously though Muzz, that one you've got . Karl.

Also available in white. Most decent amps can make most basses sound good. I have e mailed the chap in question to see if he can make his next project a FenderBird with the same neck, or even better, a tribute to the Ox, with the same neck (photo nicked from FlatEric's website, sorry, forgot to ask permission) Have a look at this little beauty http://cgi.ebay.co.u...E:X:AAQ:GB:1123

Once upon a time, a few years back, a bloke had a good job. sh*t (agressive takeover happens) and the good job went. I had the pleasure of owning and playing all of these. Now, sober, mature, gigging as much as ever with 4 basses and thinking of going to 3. I only use my Yam live. Scary nostalgia moment.
What kind of idiot buys a bass that looks as sh*t as these? I like the Roadworn relics but there is a limit ya know. Words from his advert: So if you want a cool vintage bass that looks and sounds fantastic but have not got thousands to spare this could be for you. It should read: If you are a muppet with no taste, who doesn`t realise that I am rippin you off if you buy this piece of crap then this could be for you!
