1. Congratulations, well done that man. If you ain't in you don't win! Enjoy, always good to hear of somebody's good fortune. Karl.
 2. A local music shop was always a way for me. Perhaps that doesn't work nowadays, I'm a coffin dodger after all. If you are in the North West, go to Northwest bands website, there's often a couple of gigging bands looking for bassists. Last time I looked there was a very well known, very busy Metallica tribute band looking for a permanent bassist. Eeeee, if a wer 20 yers younger lad, r'd uv ad a shot mesen. Back to Bush and Gabriel!!!!!
 3. Top bloke, top bit of kit. Wish I had a rack . Fnarr, fnarr.
 4. Back up for sale, although I will still happily trade for a quality 600watt, 4 ohm 2x12 or 4 x 10. Anybody interested, PLEASE, read the dimensions in the first post. It will fit fine on most "traditional" size cabs. Free delivery within 50 miles of Wigan
 5. Absolutely cracking basses these, just a really nice feel to them. Think tortie plate may be an upgrade? Good luck, somebody will be very happy. Karl.
 6.
i do want one of these in my life... well done sir, I hope it brings you much joy!
It will

 8. The mini ABM 48 has gone so new thread for the 1x15 only. Ashdown ABM 1 x 15, first series, made in UK, rectangular handles, excellent condition, a little paint of a couple of the corners. Please read my feedback near the bottom. I bought this being lead to believe it was an ABM mini, but the dimensions don't tally with the Ashdown site, so it may actually be an ABM Compact or the very first series of mini 115. It is 300 watts, 8 ohms and weighs 20 kg. For reference the dimensions are, Width 610, height 490, depth 350, so it is a relatively small but powerful cab. It has factory fitted rubber feet on the base and one side. If it is used on it's side, it is exactly the same width as the mini 4x8, stacking perfectly. It will fit easily into the boot of a Vauxhall Tigra leaving enough room for an Orange Bass Terror, sports bag with leads, GAMMA pad and two bass stands. So, a 300 watt, UK made compact 1x15 bass cab in good condition for £120. I think that's STUPIDLY good really. FREE delivery within 50 miles of Wigan. ABM 115, £120 + £20 courier fee. You read it right. Last few days before FEEBay at (£160). Many thanks for looking, Karl.
 9.
Karl, I really fancied this until I realised that I didn't have a P bass any more Nurse, can I have my medication now?!
1. Tom, get a P. 2. Tom, your medication needs re-assessing (Glenmorangie is good) . Oh, by the way, back up for sale bump.
 10. Just sold Marc my Ashdown 4x8. Decisive, great bloke, absolutely recommend, many thanks Marc. By the way, don't you just love it when the bloke you just been banging on about ohms to, gently lips it slip he's a master Sparky . Thanks for everything Marc, enjoy.
 11.
Where are you? Pm.
His sig says Kent, so you are 100 miles closer than me . Nearly all of Britain's good stuff is in London and Kent at the moment Karl.

 13.
Couldn't really answer that as i never use effects at all, i also have an ABM 500 and i think this is more defined than that, with the eq it is possible to dial in most tones and is exceptionally versatile. Cheers steve
Too bloody true, from Jameson to a passable chainsaw impersonation
 14. Drat, sorry Jonny I've agreed on something else. Good luck with the sale, somebody is going to get lucky. Karl.

 20.
Mate you wouldn't BEELEEEEIVE the grief I was getting last night (see elsewhere) and I reckon a fair bit is actually down to the guitarists settings....hey ho
Sadly it's down to a lack of a 600 watt 4x8 in your life . (perhaps not, but worth a try). Karl.
 21. Bought this DiMarzio Willpower DP146 as I love the sound of Yamaha Attitude LTD's. Was going to put this as the P pup on my Fender Precision Bass Special, but that bass is now on hold. So, un-opened box, seal unbroken, DiMarzio Willpower Middle (P) Pick up, black. DP146BK. Cost £74 + postage. Selling £50 + £5. NOW £45 + £5 postage, or £50 including postage, take your pick . That's brand new, sealed box, 37% off. Ta very glad, Karl.
