Thanks for all the brilliant advice folks. As an update, 1st gig last night after drummers hol, three of us ready to give it some. Guitarist who had flounced out turned up an hour after the rest of us. We played better than we have ever done (IMO) so looks like we are still a 4 piece. At the moment

Nov 1990 Yamaha Attitude Ltd, version 1. Only 150 blue, 150 red made for sale. This is a Thunder Blue one, with the pinkish fretboard markers, twin jack socket, scalloped 5 top frets, hipshot extender, DiMarzio's. Took me years to track one down, it never came up for sale. Had it 5 weeks, and despite the neck profile being shallow, the bass is based on Billy's 60's P and has a nut width of 44.5 mm, SO PLEASE be aware of that. This is really a feeler, as I know sadly I won't be gigging it. Excellent condition with one chip out of the paintwork, on the back, where the body meets the neck (it's 8mm x3mm). Couple of dinks in the headstock, few negligible scuffs in paintwork. I will take some photo's of this bass if any interest, but I only have a mobile phone. Comes with original (battered) case and handbook. I paid £500 plus an IMMACULATE Duck Dunn for this. Looking for £900, collected, you can insure/send your own courier if you wish. Sorry if this seems half hearted, my head says sell, my heart says keep. Hopefully attached is a video of Billy playing one of the 2 original prototypes of this bass. It is exactly the same apart from the stickers. Sorry, show off bass solo alert (whaddya mean jealous) Any questions fire away. Cheers, Karl. Just bought a pedal thingy off Dave. Absolutely immaculate, great comms, just couldn't have been any easier. Top transaction . Deal with that old confidence folks. Many thanks Dave, Karl.

Must admit, never really thought about people not noticing the postage. Just my own dumb thought of "are you taking the piss mate?". I have an empathy with trying to reduce the fees. If you use FEEBay you accept the terms whereby their other company, Paypal, will fleece you as well. Sadly, expensive niche products need somewhere to be sold. I'm about to put one of my basses up for sale, but if it doesn't go on here, it will be mothballed for a couple of years. Karl.
Also pick your songs carefully. Our 4-piece became a 3-piece for a year or so and I found it very enjoyable/scary in equal measures. Doesn't half make you think about what you play and when you play it! When's your next gig? I'll come along if possible...
Thanks for all the advice guys, 1st rehearsal next Wednesday. Next Friday, 1st 3 piece gig, Fleece in Ashton in Makerfield, then it's pretty much one per week until Christmas. Bloody hell, just checked BBGM MYspace in my sig. 7 left for this year, loony tunes drummer has already booked 10 for next year and he's only just started . Karl.

Postage and reply to question. I was out when it was up last time and the postage was £22 . http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2661
Not until just now... sounds like a very, very big wasp.
This is one of the 2 prototypes for the Attitude LTD (1) I believe. Only 150 red ones and 150 blue ones (like that) were made, between 1990/1992 (sold 91/93) I currently have one of the blue ones. Bit wasted on Summer of 69 . Karl.
