1. Damn, wish my Orange cab was a 4x10, I'd be down tomorrow/ That Ashdown cab is just what I for. Good luck (I think ) Karl.
2. Funny, Orange gear is hugely rated here (and rightly so!), yet seems difficult to move on. SWR seems to suffer from the same fate. Best of luck with this. If I wasn't a geriatric I would be desperately trying to get rid of my little Orange for your Big Orange Karl.
3. Last desperate bump before FEEBay. £350 collected. £370 delivered mainland UK. Quality , massively powerful British cab in immaculate condition and a very low price. It's a Made in UK Orange for goodness sake.
4. Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner in full for mine please. That'll hack the vicar off.
5.
Mate, let's not derail the guy's sale. But just to say, you are not the intended market, it was never meant to leave Japan. Who cares about period correct? The looks of a BadAss are subjective. FJ issues many other basses which are 'period correct', this is a limited run, a special. FJ actually have the most interesting instruments of any of the Fender companies IMO, and I think the new Fender Pawnshop and BlackFace or whatever they're called is a realisation that not all Fenders need to follow established patterns for the dull and boring westerners who like their Fenders to look the same as 60 years ago. Anyway, let's start a new thread if this is to carry on. Our friend has a cracking Japan Fender Jazz with a matched headstock and a BadAss II. If it's anything like mine was, it will be one of the best playing Jazzes around. Stick a John East J-Retro in and you will be able to kill wild boar with it. Best wishes for the sale, Cayston!
I'm from the League for Protection of Wild Boar's. Somebody buy this brilliant bass before I get in deeper trouble These FJ basses are bloody marvellous, and I am currently without. Karl
6.
All done! Turns out it was two songs for a DVD soundtrack. That's all I know at the moment. For speed I just DI'd my P into the desk, and let the plugins do the work. Joe's vocal isn't on there yet, but the tracks are sounding good so far... I'm looking forward to hearing the finished things.
Brilliant WOT,jealous to death Well done and keep us up to date. Karl.
7.
yeah the Rods were pub rock badwaggon jumpers, pretty good live though by all accounts. I am recording all the TOTP and will carry on till they stop airing them. Not for at least anoither year they said. Just wish they had started earlier. We missed all the good T-Rex and Alice Cooper, Sweet etc by not starting till Spring of 1976.
Spot on about the earlier years Daz Had Blackburns chart show on yesterday, from'72. Bowie, Sweet, Hawkwind, LT Pidgeon, Donny Osmond, Blackfoot Sue, Slade, Rod Stewart, now THAT's variation Karl.
8. Thanks Tom, sorry for late response. Late gig Fri night, Lowestoft Sat to pick up a bass (460 mile round trip but oh so worth it), straight to soundcheck for Sat night gig. Just used my littleVauxhall Tigra, 2 basses, this cab, Terror head + leads bag/stands. 500 watt amp and 600 watt cab in car the size of a cornflake box By the way, you are right, you would love this cab. Next Saturday less manic so back to the bigger rig. Look after yourself fella, Karl.
9. Many thanks Clive. Great guy to deal with, made me a very happy man when I relieved him of his Yamaha Attitude LTD 1. Yes, somebody on the planet who was prepared to sell one!!!! All the best Clive, Karl.
10. Never played one of these Tom, but I did briefly have an Aerodyne. This has blocks on the board, so instantly looks better that the Aerodyne IMO. The Aerodyne I had was stupidly light and did not feel right. The pick ups also sounded weak to me. This one of yours is very tempting, because I know it will be even better than it's description . All the best mate, Karl.
11. Bump before FEEBay Sunday. £350 for Britains finest, no interest? Karl.
12.
If it's based in Paisley, don't ask too many questions!
I'm with you, I'd rather have a wheel than Black and White Carts Coat being got.
13. Whatever WOT, you should be very proud you are considered high enough standard to be asked. Well done fella and enjoy. Karl.
14. Just met up with Julian, he bought my USA Precision. Top class bloke, great comms, did everything when he said he would. Deal with total confidence. Many thanks Julian, and enjoy. Cheers, Karl.
15. Look after yourself Tom, I hope your health improves fella. As we all know, absolute top man to deal with. All the best mate, Karl. PS, Retrovibe
16. No Martin, it's not Nosferatu. Ever met my Mrs Karl.
17. Nice one Bankai, cheers. Just in case I ever sell my SP212 Karl.
18.

But send him to Sunderland? Not even my worst enemy.
19. In the early 80's the band I was in was gigging with some big names. Got my Kasuga Rick copy nicked, was loaned one of these and it was bloody fantastic. I still keep promising myself Karl.
20. Used to do all of Echoes back in the late 70's. Absolutely incredible piece of music. Karl.
21.
I just shipped an Ampeg head using Paisley Shipping. Companies like parcelfarce etc. have an exception in their insurance/liability that says musical amplifiers aren't covered at all, even if it gets smashed to pieces. In fact, I never found a single company that didn't have that rule. Which kind of makes it a bit lucrative sending amps with them as the moment something goes wrong, even if they're to blame, there's nothing you can do. That was until I found Paisley. They have a list of items that are excluded from insurance/liability. But amps aren't one. They'll cover it fully insured, door to door. And next day delivery will cost less than £20 for your AD200. I fully recommend them to anybody wanting to send an amp head. Cheap, quick and actually responsible!
Any chance of a link Bankai? Cheers, Karl.
22. Absolutely top bloke, just wish I had more time to have a look at all his goodies whilst I was there. I know you'd have let me Bob . Seriously though, many thanks for a top class transaction. Karl.
23. It's been pointed out to me Thomann are currently doing these at £497 new, although it shows they aren't in stock until 14th Oct. Think it's likely they will revise that price upwards when they get that stock in. Notice the Bass Terror appears to have gone up to around £490 now as well. I think my price is very reasonable considering it is pretty much as new. Please check my feedback in post #1. Cheers, Karl.
24. I had the earlier Highway one, without Badass/graphite support and it really was an exceptional jazz, relatively light, wonderful to play. Nice warm sounding pick ups as well as the usual jazz bite. Great basses, good luck Rich. Karl.
