1.

But send him to Sunderland? Not even my worst enemy.
2. In the early 80's the band I was in was gigging with some big names. Got my Kasuga Rick copy nicked, was loaned one of these and it was bloody fantastic. I still keep promising myself Karl.
3. Used to do all of Echoes back in the late 70's. Absolutely incredible piece of music. Karl.
4.
I just shipped an Ampeg head using Paisley Shipping. Companies like parcelfarce etc. have an exception in their insurance/liability that says musical amplifiers aren't covered at all, even if it gets smashed to pieces. In fact, I never found a single company that didn't have that rule. Which kind of makes it a bit lucrative sending amps with them as the moment something goes wrong, even if they're to blame, there's nothing you can do. That was until I found Paisley. They have a list of items that are excluded from insurance/liability. But amps aren't one. They'll cover it fully insured, door to door. And next day delivery will cost less than £20 for your AD200. I fully recommend them to anybody wanting to send an amp head. Cheap, quick and actually responsible!
Any chance of a link Bankai? Cheers, Karl.
5. Absolutely top bloke, just wish I had more time to have a look at all his goodies whilst I was there. I know you'd have let me Bob . Seriously though, many thanks for a top class transaction. Karl.
6. It's been pointed out to me Thomann are currently doing these at £497 new, although it shows they aren't in stock until 14th Oct. Think it's likely they will revise that price upwards when they get that stock in. Notice the Bass Terror appears to have gone up to around £490 now as well. I think my price is very reasonable considering it is pretty much as new. Please check my feedback in post #1. Cheers, Karl.
7. I had the earlier Highway one, without Badass/graphite support and it really was an exceptional jazz, relatively light, wonderful to play. Nice warm sounding pick ups as well as the usual jazz bite. Great basses, good luck Rich. Karl.

11.
I bought this bass with a mint pg, replaced it with a clear one and my hair fell out. You have been warned!
.
12.
Too flouncy for its purpose, mate. Like a velvet kitchen, a flock toilet.
Ya back then Nige . Think I might get a Barbel coloured one . Rich fighting a good corner for cream, but no photo's, it don't exist. Dave, that Lakkie and a J pup . God I need a beer.
13. Nigel (Sunday title), when you were selling that, you have no idea how much sleep you cost me! . Karl.
14. Some great ideas guys. Mint is one I hadn't thought of but............ . NancyJ, that is beautiful, HJ, perfect photo dood . Pick up covers black, bridge and controls chrome. Thanks fellas, some wondrous stuff there, couple of twitchy trouser moments (I think, the memory dontcha know). Karl
15.
I have to agree with cream or white or anything bright, but only if it has a maple fingerboard, if it's rosewood then I would go for black. Here is what Candy Apple Red looks with a white p/g
Thanks for that GW, some very sweet gear there fella! It is a rosewood board, should have mentioned that. My stupidity comes with the territory of being a prat . Karl.
16. Bloody 'ell, I only went for a cuppa! Serious though, thanks guys. Wayne, got me thinking, seem to remember Old Horse Murphy had a Bob Glaub natural with a cream perloid. Mmmm thinks! Ta.
17. I have an incoming in Candy Apple Red. Only reds I've had before had the word Fireglow attached. Need some advice/ideas on a good colour scratchplate to go with CAR. So, I don't go a bundle on white. If it was Fiesta Red, I would go straight for tortie. My thoughts are; black black perloid gold anodised brown tortie. Any thoughts would be gratefully accepted, as well as any photo's of your beauties, if you know what I mean . Cheers, Karl.
18.
Well, all the slappers round here do.
Screen, meet coffee . Karl.
19.
I've lived less than a mile from the River Severn for the last 30 years, and have never caught a Barbel............
Shame on you, hang your head low . Anyway, listen up! I am going to Bob's on the night of Friday 16th September. Anyone who decides to buy this bass, I can drop it off for you on the M5, between Tewkesbury and the M6, or the M6, from M5/M6 junction, up to Wigan. Anybody buying it north of Wigan can come and collect it from me. Just sayin' in case it will help out a prospective buyer. Thats all . Karl.
20. Best neck eh, he must have had some right good 'uns. Karl.
21. Love the look of it, but the neck looks like a banana to me? Action high enough to kll yourself off, Or is it just my old eyes? Karl.
22. Fairly sure this enlargement issue has been discussed before on Basschat, as I remember alarm bells ringing at the time. Might have been in tech/repairs. If I get the chance, might do a search tonight. Karl.
23. Get your cables from OBBM (Dave). Sorted. Karl.
24.
And lots of them are for sale!
One less than you may think . And that Mullet sounds worse than a pissed off River Severn barbel! Karl.
25. Right Bob that fish is driving me bloody crazy bump. Mullet? Bream? Carp sprayed silver? The fins look sea fish, the road behind confuses me. Explain yourself my lad bump . Karl.
