Thanks for that Hillbilly, I think there is something slightly amiss, but it's nice to getr some agreement. Shame, it's a stunning looking jazz . Thanks for your help. Karl.

Hope you can help folks. Please see attached photo's. This is something I'm looking to buy, as I am finding maple boards easier to play nowadays. The bullet truss rod seems to be too recessed into the neck. This gives rise to other concerns about the neck, twisted etc. Any ideas? Any questions I must ask the seller? Thanks in anticipation folks, Karl.

Jolly good show chaps. Thought he was talking bollocks, but, as that's usually me, thought I'd invite in the knowledgeable ones. -

TIM. My '75 RI has gone to Gareth_Hughes. Thankfully you are a long way from me Nigel, because despite wanting a Duck Dunn, I know your bass is going to be; 1. Fantastic to play. 2. Stunning to look at. 3. Never worth any less?? than it is now. Import jobs are going up by the month. Just hope somebody hit's the buy it now button before I have to go down to Brum or somewhere. That will be too close for comfort . Karl.
I'm tempted by this but I'm really after a 75 reissue. It's the block inlays. This bass with blocks would be perfect. If I bought it I'd be looking at others with blocks and thinking I should have waited. I think......
http://www.inlaystickers.com/servlet/the-4...-Markers/Detail .

Just sold Gareth my '75 RI Jazz. Absolutely flawless mate, thanks for everything and enjoy. You are a delight to deal with. PS, jealous to death of the number of gigs you are doing. Speaks volumes about your capabilities. Karl.

Amenra. Your response to my post "it's not actually wingnuts" has left me DUMBFOUNDED! Quote, "to be brutal all my equipment is from the ................ in London. If you require tech support please call Alex there on ................". Why on earth would I wish to ring a shop up to get an answer you could provide in seconds if only you could be arsed. Or are you the real Amenra? TECH SUPPORT? TO MEASURE A NUT ON A BASS ? What I required was; 1. You should know this basic information. 2. If you don't, get a tapemeasure and measure it. That should take all of one minute, most of that being to find a tapemeasure. It's the white bit going from one side of the fretboard to the other. I have circled it on your photo. I have gone public with my comments so that other people may be aware of the laziness they may come up against. Karl. edited for photo.

QUOTE QUOTE Hello, sorry to trouble but, 1. Do you still have the Lakland Bob Glaub for sale? 2. If so, could you tell me if the nut width is 1.5 inches or 1.75. Many thanks, Karl. yes i have aznd Karl with the greatest respect to you I do not measure wing nuts etc it's standard check the wbsites cheers Thank you. It's not actually wing nuts, it is the width of the nut at the headstock end of the fretboard. These basses are made with either 1.5 inch nut, (jazz width) or 1.75 inch nut (precision width). Many of us with smaller hands struggle with the wider precision neck, which is why I asked the question. Thanks, Shame, I was really interested, having sold my jazz. Good luck with your sale.

FFS how many times do people have to be told, "if you disagree with somebody's pricing, PM them!!" New Fenders seem to be going up every couple of months at the moment. Glad you've sold it Rich, well done for sticking to your guns. As for the Highway 1, some of them were the legendary "transitionals", ie if they ran out of something on the spec, they used something else (confirmed to me by Fender). I swear, if one more person disagrees with my pricing on my RARE (YES IT BLOODY WELL IS IN BRITAIN!!!) White '75 reissue Jazz, I am going to go a kick a kitten! Karl.
Bump Cannot understand why people will pay £700 for a MiM Roadworn and I only want £400 for this amazing bass.now't so funny as folk
Bizzare isn't it. I couldn't sell my White '75 ReIssue at a lower price than a MiM Roadworn. Not gonna underprice it, suggest you do the same and if it doesn't go, well' you still have an excellent bass and somebody else has lost out! Good luck, Karl.
