1. If I can sell my '75 Reissue Jazz, will be after this one, as it's a jazz width at nut. Good luck regardless.
2. Of course it is. It's BARLEY played. Gets popcorn, waits for gags.
3. Out of my range too and yup, it's stunning. £200 cheaper than last week as well .
4. In response to a PM. The company in the link are no longer trading. The prices shown are without delivery/case/gigbag. About 2 thirds of the way down the page is the 75 reissue in natural, which shoes the colour options available. Although not pictured, white and rosewood are mentioned. The tortie plate must be aftermarket. The second link is current on April 2nd. Different pick up configuration, and that one is Alder not Ash. Add postage from Japan, import duties/post office duties etc, well over £1100. 6. I have exactly this year/model bass, unmodded. Fantastic, best of luck with the sale, Karl.
7.
and could kill you with her little finger.
Death by Ziva, die happy . Karl.
8. PM's replied to. To publically answer a couple of questions. 99% certain it's the discontinued 75JB-US non export. Current Japanese 75's seem to start just north of £800, plus delivery from Japan, plus all the import stuff, so probably not much change from £1000 to bring one over. A used Japanese 62 re-issue went for £720 on FEEBay couple of weeks ago, so sorry, I don't think I'm asking too much. White also seems relatively uncommon, especially with rosewood/blocks. Cheers, Karl.
9. Sorry, couldn't get past Johnston's avatar, the world's most beautiful woman. . Karl.
10. Didn't know about this relationship. If the bass in the pictue was blocks/bound, I'd be camped outside . (Assuming my link works). 11.
If only I could persuade my better half to pay for my Ebay shenanigans! Anyway I'm genuinely really surprised it didn't get any other bids. Never fear though, I don't intend to profiteer on this one - I have a maple/blocks JapCrap neck I've had for literally years which should slot straight in. Not sure how severe this "distressing" is likely to be, but I'm sorely tempted to turn the bass into an unofficial Dennis Dunaway signature model anyway: J.
Ah, bring back Halo of Flies!!!!!
12. Mr Cleese taught Mr Tino everything about customer service . Karl.
13.
Just spotted that & jumped on here to post it myself. It prompted me to wonder about a person as delusional as this seller plainly is. Are they just a harmless and oddly charming eccentric who can sometimes momentarily make the world a brighter place with their amusing whimsical fantasies, or should they be locked up, kept subdued and closely monitored, for the sake of their own safety & that of the community? I just don't know. Jon.
The latter, then, their equipment auctioned to pay for their sins. 99p start of course . Karl.
14. Sorry Bilbo, just insanely jealous of musicians who read. Down to me being bone idle I guess. Not funny, true . Karl.
15. Isn't an orchestra, playing classical music, a covers band? . Karl.
16. I don't suppose it's one of the rarer ones with 1.5 inch nut width is it? Cheers, Karl.
17.
Fixed!
Ohhhhh yus . Karl.
18. Most of the gigs I do, turn round too quickly and you brain the guitarist . Karl.
19. Many thanks fellas. Not really sure what non Fender-y options there are, but really just looking for the simplicity of a P pick up, rather than P/J. It's a "classic rock" covers band I'm in so the P really does cover most of it. Cheers, Karl.
20. So, I can't really find a P body with jazz neck. Lakland's Mr Dunn would do nicely, rockin hoss sh*t sadly. Got to thinking, would it be possible to take the body of a classic vibe P and just bolt on the neck from a Vintage modified Jazz, or are they going be all sorts of complications? Any advice gratefully received, cheers, Karl.
21.
I think there is a lot these days about deaths & anniversaries of those deaths so I'm surprised this one slipped by. I think it's fair to say the legacy lives on though
Yeah, just a bit!

Mobile phone photo's but it's all I've got. '75 re-issue Japanese Non Export '08 Lakland DJ. Both loved to death . Karl. Edit, should have taken a new photo of the '75, with it's new bridge saddle screw .
23.
Excellent idea. This needs to be stickyfied.
Absolutely, brilliant work Musky, many thanks. Karl.
