  1. Same here. Good luck, terrific bass which would be mine if it was a maple board.
  2. Nice bass with sensible, good quality mods. Looking at what some folk are asking for Squiers, this seems a good deal to me. Mike's a great bloke to deal with. GLWTS Mike.
  3. Tech 21 Fly rig, V1, with original (slightly bashed) tin and PSU Super condition, I rarely used it. Prefer collection from Darlington. Extra £20 for 3/4 day mainland UK insured courier delivery. Feedback available, cheers, Karl.

  4. Awful lot of good bass for that money, someone is going to get a bargain.
  5. Just to point out, this is not going to be a replacement for the Flea. It's only me pointing out some shared features. I bought it; because of some shared features (dual concentric, Pure Vintage 64 Jazz pups) which I like. And some not shared features, especially matching headcap, 9.5" radius & medium jumbo frets, which I like.
  6. The Pacific Peach Ltd Ed comes with 3 ply parchment. I bought the tort aftermarket as I'm not a fan of the parchment white.
  7. I've had a couple of the Fleas. Moved on because I couldn't get on with the radius or the frets. Pacific Peach is one of "those" colours. Under stage lighting anything from white to black. Under real life lighting, from Orangey, through to Salmon Pink, through to Blackpool Horse Drawn Princess Barbie Carriage Pink.

I replaced the parchment plate before I even set the bass up.
  9. You spoke to him before I got the chance then 😭😆
  10. As per title. 4 ply, tort white black white. Currently showing as $53 PLUS VAT, shipping, import duties. One photo shows it laid on top of the black plate on my Elite Jazz. Price includes 3 to 4 day post mainland UK only, cheers, Karl.
  11. Further PM's replied to. Still no refund so still currently for sale, cheers.
  12. The new Aerodyne Precision Special has the best pickup I've ever had on an Aerodyne. Coupled with stuff like 12" radius, Babicz bridge, chamfered arm bit, torque adjustable tuners etc, very different beast.
  13. I've received a couple of trade & cash offers but nothing's quite "done it" yet. I will hopefully receive my refund by the weekend so this will likely be removed from sale.
  14. This has only been out of the box to check electrics, intonation & photograph it. SERIOUS SAVING TRADES. I would value it higher & the only thing I would be interested in really is a straight trade for a US Standard Jazz (pre 2017). COURIER. Yes, I will mainland UK only. BUYER to organise & pay for courier please. 15. Made for me (GR covers were unavailable for a few weeks), used the cab once & returned it. Far too hi-fi for me This cost me £75 delivered £30 collected Darlington £35 UK mainland 2-3 day courier. https://amplifiercoversonline.com/wp/product/gr-bass-at212-cab-cover-h74-5-w52-d36-5/ Cheers, Karl.
  16. Pah, a mere bagatelle, I'm 262 and 4 hours 31. I wasn't checking either.
  17. 4.5kgs according to website (although that is for the cloth front version so this one may be around 5kg).
  18. Absolute pleasure to deal with Jon. Decisive & did what he said he'd do, when he said he'd do it. Very easy transaction and a really nice guy. Thoroughly recommended. Thanks again Jon, all the very best.
  19. Thomann & Bass Direct are the only ones (except Bax, NEVER again!) who stock these rather expensive & high tech cabs. I would much rather have bought from BD. I buy very little new gear but it's pretty much always through them. From the guy picking up the phone I got the feeling he couldn't be arsed. I'm no longer at the stage of life where I want to tear a snotty person a new anus. Except guitarists, obviously.
  20. For those fixated by the £20. He'd already whizzed me off before he got to the shipping. Perhaps he was doing his nails or playing space invaders & didn't like being disturbed. Mark may have been a bit more attentive & may have answered my two questions with slightly less than a can't be arsed attitude. Still, unfortunately I didn't get Mark.
  21. Yup. Never as simple as that though is it. The guy I spoke to could have been slightly less interested if he'd just shuffled off this mortal coil. They would also have been paid by debit card, so no charges. You could say the same about them, Really? For the sake of £20.
  22. Advice please, if anybody knows. Big ticket item (to me) around £1200. It seems they now include the VAT in their prices, so that nasty surprise is removed. Do our beloved HMRC add import duties of, or does the Post Office slap on handling/custom/random other charges? I've not bought anything from them since the B word, but the attitude of a UK retailer has made me look elsewhere, Cheers in advance wise ones.
