  1. OHHH yesss it isss (look somebody had to be 1st ).
  2. Everyone's a comedian I'll need to sell the Status or the Fender 1st.
  3. What a fantastic bass Paul, superbly versatile yet all the classic stuff in there as well. Awesome!
  4. Thanks, bit of a trek from Wigan. Good luck, lovely looking bass.
  5. Lots of trade offers, several coming round to see it, but haven't yet. Rather surprised this is still here, full blown Status with jazz dimension graphite neck & dots on fretboard. I've been told Rob will still do these as a custom order, but it would be around £2k.
  6. Hmm, I've seen these up at over £1000, yet no interest at all. Funny peculiar.
  7. Thanks Frank, but it's not Orange I think that means he likes
  8. Slightly surprised at no interest, but it really won't kill me to keep it
  9. One going tomorrow night, one more to go, last bass standing stays in Wigan

  11. Gutted but understood. I don't have the time to do a 500+ mile round trip until 22nd December. It will be long gone by then. Thanks anyway, cheers, Karl.
  12. If you can courier this to Darlington, at my cost, I will have it.
  13. All further offers replied to, thanks to all but none quite what I'm looking for. Other basses now up for sale, so might be last bump, cheers.
  14. Probably the most reluctant of the 3 basses I now have for sale. Part of big fundraising effort for 73/74/75 Precision, as all trades offered ( a lot) on the Status, have not been quite right. As per title, 2011, these were the slightly cheaper American range (think after Traditional, California, Highway One Highway 1 etc. They do have graphite neck reinforcement, they don't have High Mass Bridge, Custom Shop pups, hardcase, etc (comes with usual cheap"Deluxe" Fender gigbag). The neck is a slightly slimmer (back to front) than the US Standards of the time. The body is also 1/8th of an inch thinner thn the US Standards, hence weight of 8lbs 6oz. This bass is in very good condition. Lots of info on T******S SORRY I AM NOT IN A POSITION TO COURIER! Any trial in Wigan, will travel to meet up, feedback linked below, thanks for looking, Karl.
  15. Part of big fundraising effort for 73/74/75 Precision, as all trades offered ( a lot) on the Status, have not been quite right. As per title, 1st year run from when they changed from painted necks. Lots of little dinks etc, stipled paintwork on the back, the photos actually make it look better than it is. Obligatory Duff McKagan mention. Still has the little F caps on the rotaries, neck, truss, electrics fine, original slightly larger pole pups. Comes in crap case held together by gaffer tape. Some daft prices getting asked for these, I think I'm asking fair for buyer & seller. None the less it's in reasonable nick for a 30 year old bass, it will be getting gigged tonight. Weight is 8lbs 8ozs. SORRY I AM NOT IN A POSITION TO COURIER! Any trial in Wigan, will travel to meet up, feedback linked below, thanks for looking, Karl.

  17. Nutter I can't do it, no, I MUST resist........................ I'm weakening.............. Oh bugger, it's going to happen................................... Why don't you get the Goldfish a Motor Pike & Side Carp. Oh the shame Oh, & yes I will sell it if required.
  18. Fantastic amps, that Blend rotary is simply excellent.
  19. Every Sandberg I've played has been a superb players bass. Wonderfully made, great tonal range, easy to set up. Somebody once commented Lakland made Fenders as they should be made. So do Sandberg. This is probably the BEST looker I've seen, gorgeous. GLWTS John.
  20. Relevant excerpts from a review by Roger Newell "Status Graphite Kings This collaboration between bass legend Mark King and Rob Green of Status Graphite produces an exciting return to form by Roger Newell Both KingBass models have the same electronics; as with all Status models the two Hyperactive pickups and active EQ are manufactured in- house to ensure the best possible quality throughout. The active circuitry- has a master volume, a pickup blend control, treble and bass " Hope that helps.
