  1. Part of big fundraising effort for 73/74/75 Precision, as all trades offered ( a lot) on the Status, have not been quite right. As per title, 1st year run from when they changed from painted necks. Lots of little dinks etc, stipled paintwork on the back, the photos actually make it look better than it is. Obligatory Duff McKagan mention. Still has the little F caps on the rotaries, neck, truss, electrics fine, original slightly larger pole pups. Comes in crap case held together by gaffer tape. Some daft prices getting asked for these, I think I'm asking fair for buyer & seller. None the less it's in reasonable nick for a 30 year old bass, it will be getting gigged tonight. Weight is 8lbs 8ozs. SORRY I AM NOT IN A POSITION TO COURIER! Any trial in Wigan, will travel to meet up, feedback linked below, thanks for looking, Karl.

  3. Nutter I can't do it, no, I MUST resist........................ I'm weakening.............. Oh bugger, it's going to happen................................... Why don't you get the Goldfish a Motor Pike & Side Carp. Oh the shame Oh, & yes I will sell it if required.
  4. Fantastic amps, that Blend rotary is simply excellent.
  5. Every Sandberg I've played has been a superb players bass. Wonderfully made, great tonal range, easy to set up. Somebody once commented Lakland made Fenders as they should be made. So do Sandberg. This is probably the BEST looker I've seen, gorgeous. GLWTS John.
  6. Relevant excerpts from a review by Roger Newell "Status Graphite Kings This collaboration between bass legend Mark King and Rob Green of Status Graphite produces an exciting return to form by Roger Newell Both KingBass models have the same electronics; as with all Status models the two Hyperactive pickups and active EQ are manufactured in- house to ensure the best possible quality throughout. The active circuitry- has a master volume, a pickup blend control, treble and bass " Hope that helps.
  7. Now on Feebay at 950 BIN, taking advantage of 1 pound final fee offer. This is a Status after all.
  8. Is that the Mustang, Precision or both Andy?
  9. EDIT. A week late to the party. Again
  10. Terrific basses and this is a fantastic price IMO. When these were on sale they were about £100 cheaper than a US Standard. They came with gigbag, no case, normal Yank pups rather than Custom Shop (with Greasebucket) , normal BBOT rather than HM Bridge. Body approx 1/8th inch thinner than US Standard (so lighter) and the P has a slightly slimmer neck profile. There's a black one on FEEBay at £800 GLWTS
  11. Status J-type Hyperactive single coil.
  12. May be close to last chance saloon
  13. Must admit Andy, that comes under "learn something every day". I've seen a few Grooves over the years but not a graphite neck one. Always have to resist when a Shark comes up as well
  14. I think the Retro Active are a bit higher up the ladder than the Groove. I think Status' current cheapest bass is around £1700 new. When I was looking at prices on my Retro Jazz, I came across a couple on the continent, both £2k + (admittedly with dealers), which is frankly ridiculous IMO.
  15. Further PM's replied, thanks folks. Still currently available. Ta
  16. Thanks chaps. Got back to 5 pm's, all now replied to in chronological order. Still currently available, thanks again all.
  17. Ok, it owes me £900, however I'm looking for a trade. So, think this is around 2008, Status branded Hiscox case. Lots of little dinks & chips including one on the 6th fret, bass side. I can't feel it, rest of the neck & board is wonderful 38MM nut, 9lb 10oz, 18v, vol, pan, treble, bass, active/passive super player so I'm NOT going to give this up easily, needs to be the right bass for me. Bass will be cleaned before sale. PREFERRED TRADE. 73/74/75 Precision (plus up to £1100 for the right bass). Must be original finish, I will need photos of neck pocket, heel, pots/pick up numbers. MUST BE SUB 9.5LBS please. Doesn't need to be immaculate. And sorry, if you think your P is worth way north of the £2k area, good luck with your sale, but too rich for me. Other trade options, Fender Elite Precision, with probably couple hundred to you. Fender Elite or Deluxe Dimension, straight trade. My 74 Jazz & my Special Deluxe P/J take care of my gigging needs really, but I would like a 74 Precision (in particular) to go with my Jazz. As ever, happy to drive a long way if needed & any trial in Wigan. Feedback linked below. Many thanks for looking, cheers, Karl.

  19. Gutted you sold that 1983 split scratchplate piece of naughtiness so damn fast 'Av a bermp.
  20. Can only courier Monday 12th November, after that it will be collect or meet up. As previously stated, this was initially on hold 13 minutes after being put up for sale. I'm very surprised that it's still here at this price, these & the jazz version usually go for a good bit more used. I'll give it a few days then put it on Feebay at £1000. Cheers, Karl.
  21. Yup, my CAR/Maple has that neck plate
  22. Same one Dunc, buyer has been really busy & we couldn't get to meet up. Sorry, just normal recent US spec Mike, 41.3mm nut, modern C shape. I just find that profile easier than 44.5mm nut Full spec https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Fender-American-Deluxe-Precision-Bass-RW-Olympic-White/CTU
