Sold. Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass with hardcase, 2005

Good condition, cheap because of issue. A previous owner has had the neck off at some stage. They have over tightened when putting it back on. This has caused a big lacquer crack. I have gigged this bass many times, the issue is cosmetic. I'm only selling as I'm going back to all passive basses. Would still happily gig this tomorrow night. TRADES Passive US Fenders, or possibly work out a deal on Magellan 800, Dark Glass 900, PUMA/EICH head. Any trial in Wigan, feedback linked below cheers, Karl.

Absolute joy to deal with, quick, decisive & did what he said he'd do, when he said he would. Enjoy the build Rod & thanks again, cheers, Karl.

Don't forget used Yamaha, some excellent buys up to £200. Try & buy used, if it doesn't pan out, you should be able to minimise any losses. Have a look on the Facebook pages for stuff local to you, as well as here, Bumtree & FEEBay.

Tread warily, I've had 2 and they were both weighty, pushing 10lbs. I also didn't like the frets, think it was because they were very thin.
-
Anyone know anything about these.

Cheap low quality early 70's, built down to a budget. Avoid. -
https://www.facebook.com/Troyen14 / Looking for GUITARIST. Great originals band reformed a couple of years back, 3000+ likes, gigs in the book, but not huge amounts. Although I'm on some of the videos on Facebook/ You Tube, I'm no longer involved, I left because I couldn't do European gigs. One of the founding members has had to stand down due to poor health. Please let me know & I will put you in touch with them. Cheers, Karl.

Jack, mine was exactly the same as the following (currently on Feebay at a lunatic £685). Believe me, mine was cheap, horrible rubbish, bendy neck, no intonation, awful electrics and action you could drive a bus under. YET I STILL scraped the logo off & replaced it with Fender, from one of those Dymo Tape things

Fake Fenders you bought and now regret selling

Must admit, I noticed that and was seriously jealous of his powers

You guess wrong & continue with your blinkers on all things but your opinion. It's really a shame that you insist on going straight in screwing people's sales threads rather than having the courtesy to PM them. Wonder why you do that. I'm off before I get another Mod Spank.
-
No it was several weeks ago, at £200. If you had had the courtesy to pm me YOUR concerns rather than put YOUR OPINION on my sales thread, you might not have whizzed me off so much. You might like to check my feedback before making remarks like the above quote.

I admire your confidence. The reality is you can buy Fender Custom Shop decals, JV neckplates, "case candy " packs, serial number transfers, all online, all hooky. Don't see Fender or the police shutting them down. We are better off with MEMBERS policing adverts, pretty much works thus far. Screwing peoples sales threads rather than having the courtesy to PM them first is really not in the spirit of Basschat.

So, the OP really want's to stop folk selling "adjusted" items on here, even if both parties are happy with the transaction. In a scale of criminality I find it hard to get worked up about a bit of printing on a bit of wood. The OP pulled this on one of my ads on Facebook, trying to screw the sale, which led to me blocking him. Fortunately a mate came round & was delighted with the bass & the price. Sorry Mr Hall if I robbed your IP, at a price of 8% of one of your products. If folk aren't allowed to sell these kind of Fender bitsa's on here, it WILL be the death knell for the classifieds.

NBD. Nice little early Xmas present to myself.

Keep us up to date on those changes if you would be so kind I wouldn't be too surprised to see these changing hands at £300/£400 in a few years. Cracking basses, and I think Fender are currently lacking this style in an affordable range. -
Some people like Fender on the headstock. Some people, one in particular don't like that. Tough, frankly. If the whole of the site was to be changed to accommodate that, it would be a massive blow. After this last website overhaul, highest number on at one time is something like 280. Prior to that change it was usually over 400 Prior to the change before last average on at many times was 4000 to 5000. Changes seem to hurt. Over & out from the Wigan panel.

Nash got a C & D several years ago. And as to them being "quality" some previous owners would disagree.
-
I couldn't find an emoticon for tongue in cheek.

Looking at this headstock (one of millions) somebody needs to have a word with them naughty Squier folk . Or Fender folk
