    Thanks guys. I can't find the spec either and I'm not going to get the chance to take the back off until the weekend. There are references to Celestions on ****bass. Muzz, me owld apfel strudel, that's a most excellent idea . I did take it into the warehouse last week to wind it up a bit. Couldn't hear the "sympathetic vibration". Mainly because the 3 foot cubed heating unit on the ceiling was being rattled out of it's mountings Perhaps best folks if we just leave it until further investigation at the weekend.

    To put everybody in the picture; I'm expecting a Sat meet at Ferrybridge Services. A FB'er is confirming this tonight. If that doesn't happen, I'll let folks know. Strangely there is now a bit of a queue forming A sale is preferred but there has been a serious discussion re one trade, cheers, Karl.

    Rich, I've tried everything in this little bloody house but I can't suss what it is, hence the comments. I've only used it for 3 gigs (hiatus until Feb) and it's performed very well with no issues BUT if I advertise it like that, and somebody goes to their 1st gig with it and it "kicks off" , it will be a problem for buyer and seller. Not sure I'm being a bit knee jerk tbh, will probably end up taking it to GEE's on Monday and just hope it's not too much

    38lbs, 2 x 12, titanium bullet tweeter, 4 ohm with poor fitting/tatty Roqsolid. IT HAS AN ISSUE AND SOLD AS SUCH! There is an awful rattling, the louder you go, the worse it gets. BUT, it only seems to do this in my house, not at gigs . This is only going to be up until the weekend. After that it goes into GEE Electronics in Warrington to get sorted. That might cost me £60. It might cost me £200, I really don't know. If I did, the cab would most likely not be up for sale. For right or wrong, I traded £500 worth of cabs for this, as weight and shape were ideal for me. So, if anybody is brave enough to take this on with the thought they can sort the issue, £275 collected from Wigan (or £275 meet up within 50 miles of Wigan).     In Blue's example, post #2 a lot of folk would weed themselves out anyway. Touring US and Europe, well, it has to be goodbye to any day job. That should lead to a premise of requiring an experienced professional imo. One of the things I KNOW I bring to a band is experience. Even though I'm a grumpy fat old git, I can make suggestions about song arrangements that can make a difference. Just one example, from one band and one song. Bryan Adams, Summer of 69. I suggested doubling the length of the lead break, with both guitars doing tapped harmonies. It always went down very well and people nearly always kinda went "wow". Experience helps with arrangements and pleasing crowds IMO.

    I've had 3 of the original headstock basses. Also an absolutely stunning Telecaster guitar copy. Without exception, the Fenixes I've had have been fabulous value for money.

    History as I know it. Commisioned by James Stelfox, Starsailer. I bought off him. Think it went to Mojobass, then Ash. Superb bass I should never have sold, but without selling something (not easy and unlikely to be quick at the moment) it's not coming to me . Somebody is going to get happy.

    Pm's replied, many thanks. Please remember this is the 800 watt model, with accessories . Trades I would consider are Streamliner 900 or Markbass TTE 500, possibly an ABM, cash adjustments either way. Namely valve pre amp (but NOT LM Tube). Cheers, Karl.

    There are a few around. These 2 are both passive. The Candy Apple is modified with Hipshot Lollipops, BadAss and Seymour Duncans. The Sea Foam's only mod is tortie plate.     So a few folk do think like me. That's comforting . The only cab I would replace the Schroeder 212 (+titanium bullet horn) with is a Barefaced SuperTwelve.

    IMO these basses are actually pure dead astonishing. I played one in a shop 2 years ago. For 2 hours. The neck is just so fluid. The pick up is amazingly versatile. They are very light. Just such a great sounding, easy to play, great looking, simple bass. The ONLY reason I did not buy the one I tried was the shop manager went out for a long time and his no. 2 would not authorise £600 trade in for an excellent US Precision. . Oh, and the shop was 250 miles from where I live. Still rankles to this day. The one that got away.
