OK all pm's replied, many thanks folks. 2 people have asked re courier. I am reluctant, in the wooden box it weighs 21kgs. My concern is in the unlikely event of a courier dropping it, it's own weight will cause it to become damaged. I'm going to attempt to protectively box it later on today. Wish me luck

Thank you Mr. Burns-bass, they are certainly fabulous amps, though sadly out of favour. For example, an EBS of this type and quality, would command at least twice as much as I'm asking. Apologies for awful photos. SCHROEDER is NOT included in this sale. Regarding photos camera was being strangely awkward. Anybody who knows me knows that if anything I undersell the condition of my gear. So, fabulous iAMP with built in SABINE tuner. 600 watts @ 4 ohms. Link to manual, there are simply too many tonal options (4 presets for starters) to start going through. It is a normal rack size without the box and weighs 27lbs. With the box (which I'm including) it's about 40lbs and is bleedin' massive! 21.5 inches x 17.5 inches x 5.5 inches. It's probably about a decade old in excellent condition. A scratch on the front and some paint missing/rust, on the metal box corners. The iAMP 800'S seem to go between £400/£500. I think £300 is fair to buyer and seller. I know it's big and unfashionable but it is a stupendous amp. Sadly I will never gig something this big again. Very simple Marc. You see those bits "sale only" "no trades"? Didn't happen I got offered my perfect Schroeder (which last sold on here for £325, MUCH less than I was asking for these). I took a straight swap because to get my perfect Schroeder, new, from the states, would cost over £1000 now. So, yes, I'm taking a massive hit on these, but it's not always about the money. My EA iAMP 600 will have to go up because I haven't sold this, but, I'm getting the Schro I've long lusted for . Happy bunny!

That would be a bit scary Pete I wanted to sell these, BUT, was offered a trade against MY perfect Schroeder. What makes it even better the offer was made by a pro legend that I have massive admiration for . Cheers Marc, they are certainly a bit different. The main favourite EA nowadays seems to be the M12 Whizzy kinda thing. Difficult to find but they retailed around £650 in 2013 and are a less complex/equipped box than this. They seem to sell around £400 used on the rare occasion they come up. Thanks for the comments Pete, appreciated . According to website, they weigh 37lbs each (about 16.8 kgs) and that does feel about right. 2 proper speakers and tweeter, easy to move because of 3 proper sprung handles. Quite a technical box as Marc points out. Still hope they go before the Schro though,I just love Schros

PM replied. Only one person vaguely interested which I find surprising as these are fabulous 3 way cabs. Think of them as lightweight, but extremely well built with top quality components. I understand EA is very popular with upright players, perhaps I should have advertised them elsewhere Cheers, Karl.

I need to raise some loot by end of November, so putting these fabulous little cabs (and my Scroeder) up. These 3 way cabs are individually about the same weight as the EA IAmp 600 that goes with them (NOT included in sale!) Sale only please, will meet up within 100 miles of Wigan, no extra charge. Feedback at bottom of thread. EA is now both rare and expensive in the UK. Any trial in Wigan No trades please, when one of my sales is complete, the other will be removed. If they(unlikely) both go at the same time, I'll be begging oldman or walbassist. I've not had these from new, I would guess they are probably around a decade old but they are superbly made, in very good condition, although there is some paint loss and a touch of rust around the proper handles. The plastic corner pieces have the usual scrapes. Thecabs will be cleaned before sale.
