1.
OK - I'll go for that.
You beat discreet to it then Jack
2. Muzz, I'm sure I noted somewhere that you've done a review on your Magellan. Buggered if I can find it any link fella?
3. Not a deal, but Dunc, being the altruistic leg end that he is, very kindly gave me the heads up on a bit of kit I was lusting for, even though he was selling something similar! Top guy, salt of the earth Basschatter! Cheers mate.
4. As per title. Weight 40lbs (yes a 2 x 12 that only weighs 40lbs) 30 x 19.5 x 13.5 102 dB 4 ohms For use with amps from 150 W TO 1200 W. Reason for sale, got the Gen3. This cab, new, would have cost £760 + £50 vintage cloth +£60 delivery + £45 Roqsolid cover, total = £915. Current model, delivered with this lot would be around £955, plus a wait. Spec of this Gen 2 I'm selling http://barefacedbass...uper-twelve.htm Excellent condition. The side handles have been replaced simply because they look better and I don't use them. The top handle, well, I wanted to get as much life out of it as possible before I replaced it. Cos I'm tight. So, it's not been updated, but the spare top handle is included. Sale only please. I will reluctantly courier, mainland UK only, but it will be an extra £40 including insurance. I'm happy to meet up, no charge, between Penrith, Leeds, or just north of Brum. Sorry, I think £500 is an excellent price so please, no offers. Any trial in Wigan, your amp/bass or mine, feedback link at bottom of this post. Many thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. 7. That's excellent info Markolinni, many thanks for that cheers, Karl.
8. Back up for sale. This was withdrawn for a week and a half due to electical issues. Luthier has given it a clean bill of health, and me a serious attack of sarcasm. I take two basses to each gig. The spare is sat on a stand, with lead attached. So any issues, one jack plug out of amp input, another jack plug straight in. Changing basses takes less than 10 seconds. On the night in question, my P went horribly scratchy and died. I instantly changed basses. EXCEPT IT WASN'T THE BLOODY P THAT DIED, it was the lead I was using on the P. Even the Mrs is smirking. Anyway, back up for sale. As you were
9.
Marl??
Yes. What is the matter with you boy, it's the Old Wiganish version of Mark, before it was bastardised by them Norman conqueror geezers. Does thar nay nowt lad
10. Just asking really. I had a splendid back up rig which I sold. Stupidly Streamliner 600 through two GB Focus 1 x 12's. It was a terrific rig and weighed nowt. Few months after selling it, I got to thinking Fender bought/shut GB, wonder if their 1 x 12 Rumbles are based on them, and how do they compare. Anybody been lucky enough to have both?
11. Excellent review Marl. I love my rig so won't be doing anything about it. Tonight
12. Regretably Tim, as this stands, it will not sell. YOU MUST OFFER CAKE!!! Biscuits are only acceptable up to £1k Top bloke peeps, and what a bass! Good luck fella.
13.
Sod how it sounds, it just looks awesome!!!
What he said
14.
Funny you should mention that... 2 pickups but here you go anyway: http://www.mikelull....ture-ament.html The red one at Bass Direct is £3K though!
Stunning, but I just can't get on with that headstock.
It makes me want to take a can of seafoam green to my epi tbird , shame its too nice an instrument to suffer at my unskilled paws. Perhaps an ebay special karl , ive seen them go a low as £99 , i spy a doner right now in a facebook group https://www.facebook...167506796594280
Great idea, I'm on the case

Thanks for that. Except the price tag, not the price tag
17. So who's the one who can photoshop a Sea Foam Green, single chrome cover pick up (P position please) TBird or Explorer bass. PLEASE! At last a screensaver to lust at
18. I sorted this on Sunday, we are starting 10.30 straight through to midnight. Early set up, shorter than usual 2 sets. Usual finish time. Sit and watch game. I can live with that
19. Won't help, but would recommend a listen to Dave Bainbridge's Celestial Fire album. Dave is, and always has been, just a prodigy, but he's worked stupidly hard as well. I had the honour of going to school with him, and being in a couple of bands with him in the 70's. I was 17, he was 16, the band did a night club in Darlington. We did America (The Nice version). At 16, on a little Fender Rhodes, Dave did the lot. Currently on tour in America playing keys for The Strawbs, his main squeeze is IONA, although he did the Queens thing in the Park, played for Jack Bruce and countless others. He does a lot with GB3 as well. When I was with Troyen, he offered to put some keys on if we sent the master over to his studio. The other three muppets declined his offer . Phenomenal musician and one of the nicest guys you will meet. AND STILL CHAMPIONING PROG https://www.youtube....h?v=12isbLP8Sf0 https://www.youtube....h?v=Xn31A36Dp8Q If you like prog, buy Celestial Fire by Dave Bainbridge
20.
I believe John Mc Vie from Fleetwood Mac uses a Lakland these days, Although I'm sure he uses sensible strings.
So does Geezer

22. WHITE CHICKEN HEADS, I WANT ONE Sorry I'm easily excitable.
23. Hmm, $1600 plus shipping, import and VAT. Limited options, but tempting.
24. It is a shame Gibson don't do a few more colours in basses. I had a white '84 Explorer bass for donkey's years. And it had a proper bridge.Still regret selling it. The Silverburst and Tobacco burst RI's just didn't tempt me at all. Now, a Sea Foam Green TBird OR Explorer, with single chrome covered pup would certainly get the credit card out
