1. Sorry man, pretty sure this went a while ago.
2. I will take one of the MM HB's if it can be wired VVT. Send me a PM to let me know thanks.
3. Nooooooooooooo!! I should have stayed in Glasgow just for this... Been looking for one for ages but been busy lately and obviously havent looked hard enough... If you ever decide to sell it, give me a PM Hope its as awesome as i think lol
4.
If you mean cyan coloured maple boarded jazz style basses then I has got one too Yes polishing takes a very long time if you're doing it by hand. It's worth it though (well unless the finish gets f***ed up like what happened to mine )
Perhaps us four should start a club?
5. Anyone think a Sonic Blue w/maple neck, white pearloid pg and black tuners and black schaller would look good? Trying to imagine it without success, i know the navy blue would.
6. Theres another one! Me and Gafbass02 and you must have great tastes in basses. Check his and mine out and youll see what i mean. Gotta say, its amazing looking
7. I have 7 basses and an 8th on the way this week (i hope) and i dont gig Just need to work up the nerve to get into a band.
8. How long did it take you in the end? You can see my jazz in my profile pic.
9.
STOP CONFUSING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First, I didn't like P-basses. I bought two of these (both white). Second, I am not a fan of tortoise-shell plates. And you're making me question that too!!! That's a seriously nice combination. Hmmm.
I was the exact same, hated every P Bass i played until the Sue Ryder. But sorry, i still cant stand tort plates
10. That is one AMAZING looking bass, good luck with the sale
11.
but from the same factory as these ones!
Definetly, Would easily pay £80 for it too, prefer 60 tho
12.
and it all started with this innocent looking thread...
I reckon we should send Sue Ryder herself a link to the "Sue Ryder Bass has Arrived" Thread and see what she says, never know, she might decide to start another run of basses, or even a jazz bass too
13. Pearl to match what is going to be a very nice looking neck
14. Surprised no one else has asked this... Did you do it yourself? I'm quite impressed by the quality of it, looks great
15. I came across an MIA Jazz going for about a grand in my local music shop and it had sooo many flaws, the Squier they had was put togethor much better (and played better IMO). There was even a gap between the PG and the Control plate, i could have dropped a 5 pence down there and never had seen it. In my eyes its all about playing as many as you can get your hands on and finding the right one, the one or two VMJ played much better than any Fender i have tried. I think i was just lucky when i built mine and it came out perfect (in my eyes ) Good luck finding THAT jazz Musicman
