4.
Most Kings of leon songs have very simple bass lines..... Fans springs to mind as being the most obvious.
Yeah but it's a bugger learnin Sex on Fire cos the bass starts on the off-beat
5. ok, so we got the 'unplayable bass parts' thread, how about those classic 'simple' basslines?? I'll kick off with Stingos' Walking on the Moon and JJ Burnel on Peaches - but I know there's loads more......
6. I havent tried it but Hotel California by The Eagles sounds like it might be tricky

8.
Variable quality - I've had 5 over the years; that Jazz, an SG (my first-ever g*it*r), two black LPs and a Strat. Either way it's not a bad little g*it*r at all. J.
It's ok - no-one will come after you with a big stick - ready? G-U-I-T-A-R got it? Guitar!! There --- thats better.

16. Me deppin' for Dizziyak Band - although I'm almost permanent now...
17. Wild Guitars in Highgate has got a tasty '66 Jazz and an early '70s Ricky. Proper guitar shop.
18. For sale my Fender Strat hybrid. This is a really nice vintage mix of japanese and US parts. Put together by a luthier/repairer/player in Cornwall. It consists of: # Fender 1980's MIJ Body probably Squier # Fender 1980's 0riginal '67 reissue neck # Fender US re-issue pickups - custom shop signed Abigail Ybarra # Fender 1957 re-issue gold anodised pickguard # Fender bridge - age unknown - but old!! # All cloth wiring inside Nitro old blue metallic showing some crazing. Plays like a dream viewing recommended. Has excellent quality Terrapin hard case. If this was a pukka custom shop model it would be worth well over £1000, but as it's not, I think considering all aspects £500 is a fair price. I'll post more pics soon.
19. I think any chick playing bass is cool as ......
20. Ron Wood was awesome with The Faces Robbie Robertson (The Band)
21. 1989 G&L L1000 and Schecter PJ Fretless US made from late 70's/early 80's.
