1. Whereabouts in London are you??
2.
I'm in the processes of trying to buy a used bass from Ishibashi's U-Box section (sad to say that the Atlansia was already sold, ped). You need to email them with the Order Code (that's the number immediately under the bass name on the detail page) and someone from Ishibashi will eventually get back to you with more details about the condition of the bass in question and a shipping price. Unfortunately as I've discovered twice now the time zone differences don't do us any favours when trying to buy a sought-after instrument.
Let us know how you get on - I'm looking at a few in the U-Box!!
3. Has anyone bought a used bass from Ishibasi?
4. I don't get this '...plays like butter.....' - utter bollocks!!!!!!!!!!
5. Bump.......Due to a non-paying ebayer, I am prepared to take £1000.00 for this...!!!....... Anyone??????????????
6.
Like the Wal, but LOVE the avatar!!
Yeah thanks mate - me too - if only she was real.......
7. Don't know much about Wal basses - but this looks nice http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Wal-Pro-Custom-bass-...1QQcmdZViewItem
8.
Hi folks Being that time of year, I've set myself a New Year's Resolution to spend the Summer months travelling round Europe... and to do it in style, so I'm going to buy myself an old VW Bus, have it restored, and drive my way through Europe... with all the cost involved in buying the bus, restoring it, getting all the valid paperwork to travel through the various regions etc... I'm going to have to make a few sacrifices... so... Up for sale is my USA Fender 1975 Re-issue Jazz bass... in Natural finish, with a (gorgeous feeling!) Maple neck and fingerboard, a 3-ply black, white, black scratchlpate... all original parts, in very good condition. The only small blemish that I can see is a small mark on the front pickup cover - which may even polish-out (I can take photos if needed.) It is a fantastic bass, I've only ever heard fantastic reviews about them... it plays beautifully, with no issues... a beautiful low action with no fretbuzz, nice straight neck.. really well looked-after... The bass comes with the original Fender moulded hardcase & original Fender strap. It is in pretty-much perfect condition really, I'll give it a good polish at the weekend, and give it a good check-over For now, I'll post an old (a few months) pic of the bass, I'll have some new ones taken over the weekend. Having seen previous posts on the forum, with similar basses for sale, I'll start the price at £850 delivered personally by myself... alternatively, if you'd like to make me an offer for the bass, and to arrange your own collection (be it by yourself, or a courier firm) let me know... I could also look-into postage for the bass, but I'm not keen to do this, from previous bad experiences... I will entertain trade offers, but as mentioned, I'm only selling the bass to fund a vintage split-screen VW Camper... if you have one you'd like to offer me, let me know ;-) Thanks for your time Rich
I'm selling my '79 P and my motorbike to fund purchase of a VW Bus - not a split mind........ Good luck with your plans!!
9.
So now we just have to decide on a convenient venue, date and who is up for a beer then?
Perhaps we should sort it on a new thread instead of hi-jacking this one!!!!!!!!
10. I'll be interested in the Jazz if I sell my '79 P...........
11.
What's the width at the nut and what are you looking for in terms of trades? Cheers Chris
PM sent
12. PM answered and bump may be interested in trade!
13.
Yeah..... A good old rant about how rubbish January usually is for us, and a nice pint of Real Ale!
Soundz like a good idea!!!
14. I may be tempted to sell my '79 sunburst/maple Fender Precision. It is all original - no belt marks on the back, it has both covers and the original Fender hard case. Weighs around 4.5kg on bathroom scales! Please PM me if you are interested. I will post more pics soon. Due to a non-paying ebayer, I am prepared to take £1000.00 for this.............anyone??
15. Hi - I'm in Braintree!!!!!!!!!!!!!
16. Nice rig - how much wonga are you looking for?
17. Well, I'm gonna be the odd one out cos I've tried playing my P with a pick and just can't get on with it. Funny old world, cos I been guitarist using a pick ok - and who knows maybe my classical guitar training has helped my bass playing using fingers yeah doesn't make sense eh?
18. Fab collection - shurly you don't need all of 'em - you could donate to needy basschat members............... (hang on while I just duck..)
19. Nice!! - I'd like a J but I love my P and can't afford any more cos recent GAS for a fretless.
20. Recently aquired Guild B301F. This is my first fretless - the other woman being a '78 Precision. I'd heard they were undervalued and yet highly rated. This really plays like honey. American made bit of kit for a bargain price - like wow!!!!
21.
BUMP for a price drop. Need to shift this before the wife cuts up rough...
Damn damn damn i'm soooooo tempted!!!!!!!!!
