Thank you guys, I really think this is the better amp in production today but as stated it needs to be played for a touring musician.
It doesn't make any sense a tube 40 watts of this price just for playing in my bedroom once a month at most.

It's easy to play but a good guitar player (and I'm not one of those definitely) can touch the heaven with this instrument.

Thank you Nash, indeed it's awesome in every aspect.
You can play it as a 6 string guitar too so the neck and nut spacing is the same, but once you hear the ringing tones of the 12 configuration you will not want to do that.
The 381V69 is the top of the line of the Ric catalogue and given the construction is much more resonant than any Rickenbacker of the Reissue or Vintage series.

If you have listened and enjoyed a Matchless amp imagine how it sounds this beast, this is the top of the line and more expensive amp in their whole catalogue.

Comes factory with trapeze tailpiece and Rickenbacker TV Style Control knobs wiring in three position (two tones, one volume).
It's in dead mint condition and comes complete with the vintage silver case, manual, cloth and tags.
This is one of the most beautiful and better done high-end american guitars ever and there are very few made in this awesome finish.
The sound and feel is incredible but the fact is I don't know what to do with so many strings and I don't use her, so just as a feeler by now I could be interested in trades [u]adjusting cash my way[/u] for a Fender Jazz Bass Custom Shop, a Rickenbacker 4001/4003 or a Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul or ES-335.
As far as amps: An Aguilar AG500, a Fender Deluxe Reverb or a Vibrolux/Vibroverb or a british made Vox AC15 or AC30 will suit me too.

I bought it from an american dealer and paid a fortune with the shipping and custom fees but take a look at the even higher recommended price in UK:

I have at home a mint condition (only a few hours of careful home testing) Made in USA 2010 Matchless Chieftain 212 Combo CH-212 Reverb in Crimson Red finish. European 240v model with unfilled Matchless lifetime warranty.
This is by far the most awesome handmade point to point "Class A" boutique guitar amp in the market but I know positively now it was an irrational and impulsive purchase, a very expensive whim so loud (and quite weighty) that surpass my requirements just for playing at home.
I would like to sell it to get a lighter and cheaper Fender Deluxe Reverb or a british Vox AC15 so offers that way would be welcome.

Please in the chance you want to place on the table a trade don't send me another proposal so I'm not interested.

Matchless amplifiers are self-biasing so no adjustments are necessary when replacing tubes.

I have no idea Dirk, but the most part of his basses of the last times have been Fender Jazz Bass Custom Classic, a discontinued model. Maybe he bought a batch to any dealer... who knows.
