1. Carl, please read above. By the way, I love this bass.
2. I can't understand why someone needs to destroy a beauty to create a monster, if the artist starts from zero it makes sense and will be just a matter of taste but is not the chance here. Anyway the seller description of the auction "Vintage 1972 Fender Jazz Bass Olympic White ~ CUSTOM!" is a complete joke.
3. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-1972-Fender-Ja...=item4cf41f74dc Absolutely terrible. I don't know if is worst the "artist" work or the seller description .
4. Not too expensive considering it came from XXXXXX and is in XXXXXX condition.
5. Mike, I bought this Wal even though is not in my hands yet. Happy so this is a bass I have been looking for years, but I'm completely broke till 2012.
6. Absolutely John, you're right. Sorry for the confusion EDIT: Now withdrawn.
7. My fault with the language so I tried to be ironic with the "more or less": Not any offer received that could be considered as serious. By the way: Are you interested?
8. Thank you my friend.
9. Received a few "more or less reasonable" offers but still available.
10. You have a PM.
11. Thank you so much mates. It's an awesome bass indeed. C'mmon guys, 70's Precision fretless in this great condition and so sweet are not for sale or trade often.
12. Definitely interested so is Made in USA.
13. I keep it for a recording. Thanks.
14. You're absolutely right Topo. but let's see what happen. Aside the personal tastes in my experience this is the perfect set-up for anyone, but could be changed or modified in the future so the Flatliner are ready for that, My price for all the componets are more than fair and in fact if you make numbers a bargain (there's a few pedals here with a truly high value in the second market just now) so why not take advantage of this? No hurry at all by my side, just an interesting proposal for another pedalgeek like a was.
15. Cheers all. Sorry guys, if nobody take the whole packaging this will be a heredity for my son so I don't really want to split the work of so many years. Let's see if the right trade come to me.
16.
"Holly pedal Boards Batman"
Also called USS Enterprise By the way, forgot to mention that I have two cables with the UK plugs for the Flatliners that are included with all the stuff.
17. You have a proposal for the fretted one.
18.
What about Mr.Bassman's Wal Midi Bass. I've played it and I love that one. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88382&hl=wal
3.5k is out of the price range. Thanks anyway my friend
19. Hi mates, Sorry if this is not the proper place to ask for, but anyone wants to sell his 4 strings fretted Wal at an affordable price? I'm looking for one for a friend without success.
20. Very nice Andy.
21. Just a feeler by now so even I don't play guitar since many time ago I love this instrument. It's a discontinued and collectable american 2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard faded 60's neck, as you probaly know it has the same specifications of the common Standard model, but with less nitro coats that IMHO achieve a more resonant and organic tone, as stated in the Les Paul forum. The flame figured top of this one is outstanding and looks like a R9 Custom Shop model, it's really lightweight and has important upgrades as the vintage covers, Orange Drop capacitors and fully copper shielded cavities. Burstbuckers 1 and 2 pickups (the most accurate Gibson PAF replicas), pickguard with brackets included never mounted -no holes in the guitar- and the original black hardshell case . It's a lovely example that sounds absolutely superb. Looking for a trade adjusting cash for a 4 strings american Vintage Reissue/Custom Shop Fender Jazz Bass or Precision, a Sadowsky, Gibson EB-x or a Wal, but open to other classic basses. Please any proposal through PM. Cheers
