1. Looks incredible Gareth, what a beautiful specimen! Wish I had the funds.
2.
Could you tell me what the CS-options are on this bass? Is it masterbuilt? Thx.
I ordered the Sonic Blue finish, the handwound pickups, the vintage white pickguard and the flatwound strings. I'm pretty sure is a Teambuilt so a Masterbuilt goes for almost 6k + taxes these days. Thanks.
3. Amazing playing and a great bass!
4. The fretted red one is wonderful! Best luck with the sale.
5.
it's beautiful. but why has it got a late 60's headstock decal?
No idea at all mate and I didn't realise that fact, I ordered the model and colour through my Fender dealer and this is what I got straight from the Custom Shop. It's of course 100% brand new, original and unmolested.
6. Many thanks for your words guys.
7. Hi Stacker. Yes, you're right, pictures are not the best, but the colour showed is quite accurate in the first ones and maybe a little less in the last shot (looks next to Daphne or Lake Placid Blue there). My camera is in automatic mode but I can't do much more with this piece of junk and my little knowledge in photography. Anyway this is Sonic Blue (Dupont Number 2295):
8. Thank you guys, it's not easy for me part with it but times are hard.
9. Thank you Hutton. The pictures are so-so. I need a better camera and take a few ones with the covers on, that way it's insane!
10. WITHDRAWN Thanks!
11. Now sold, thank you.
12.
What's the hum like on the p single design? Also any idea of the output? I see it's unused but on the off chance you have used one. . . edit:ok silly question for someone who's selling one. Thanks anyway.
Not a silly question at all, but as stated it's in the box without use, so I don't have any idea about the perfomance, just I bought it after a extensive research thinking this is the ultimate pickup for a 50's style P-bass. Very sorry.
13. The Precision pickup is still available!
14. The Telecaster set is sold pending payment.
15. No idea mate but worth a try.
16. Ok, let's see with another reduction of the price.
17. Why? Those specific pickups? The price?
18. No interest? Hard to believe.
19.
any sound clips ? in some un-openable format? Is it anything like this or more rare?
This is only average. +++ AWESOME +++ is like this:
20. Very sorry to hear that Andy, wish it could be in your hands. More proposals with trades received but just now I will only trade this bass for a nice 80's or 90's Stingray fretted or fretless, otherwise I prefer a straight sale to purchase a wonderful red 'ray that is for sale here in the forum.
