1. It would sound and play like sh*t I'm sure. Who cares when it looks like that though? Lottery on Wednesday it is then.
2. I really love the look of this thing. I really want it for some reason. Can't bring myself to buy it though. Thoughts anyone? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Orpheus-Orfeus-Hebros-Soviet-USSR-Russian-Vintage-Archtop-ES-335-Bass-Guitar-60s-/180859246336?pt=Guitar&hash=item2a1c0d1700
3. Now reduced to 275quid. Final price before ebay.
4. Plenty of love for this fine bass. Anyone need any further info or pics?
5. Rare 80's hohner Jazz Bass I think it is an ash body, maple on maple neck with abalone dots. It is slightly lighter than a Fender. The bridge is a lump, all original and I cannot find one like this on any other Hohner anywhere on the net. Tuners are Schaller with one Hipshot Dtuner. The electrics are all new and shielded, very high quality as they were taken from a top of the range Lakland and then re-wired. Mahogony thumb rest and Tort pickguard and truss rod cover. The pickups are Wizard Eighty-Fours, Wizard says; Darker, bassier and generally dirtier than the Sixty-Fours, these pickups are overwound to lower the overall tone. Loud and proud these pickups will drive any group. http://www.wizardpic...p?category=Bass The Bass was recently set-up by Simon Jones at SGL Guitars and it is superb to play. It has a brand new set of DR Handwound strings on it with a heavy bottom E from a Dtune set. http://www.sglguitars.co.uk/ Overall condition is good. A bit of paint chipped here and there but that just adds to the look and feel. Quality bass at a great price. Selling as need funds and just don't get to play this one. PRICE DROP [s]£275[/s] £245 plus shipping at cost. I had an error when I uploaded the pics - it just won't let me. Pics here: https://picasaweb.go...626816259019022 Cheers Steve
6. Chrome Gotoh 201? I have one in as new condition you can have for £30 posted to mainland UK. It has been fitted but never strung, and then removed. I also have a chrome neck pickup cover if you are interested. Don't think it is OEM but it's quite nice - £5
7. This one is a 33.
8. Thanks for the info Guys I gotta say I'm pretty chuffed with it. Steve
9. Hey Like the look of this but does it play well? What is the action and neck like and what does it sound like? I am guessing there is no case for this, how would you pack for shipping to Swansea? Cheers Steve
10. First Bass - Early Satelite Jazz - Sunburst Go To Bass - Peavey T-40 - Natural Your Bass - Peavey T-40 - Natural
11. Hi I bought this for very little money and it turns out to be a great playing jazz. Have upgraded the tuners with Schallers and a Hipshot, Wizzard 84 pups and new electrics since these photos were taken. Now it has been set-up properly it sounds and plays like an absolute dream. Has anyone seen one of these before and has anyone got any info on it? I have emailed Hohner and checked their website and no info is available. Thanks Steve Mc
12. Now with pics - what a bargain!!

Sean's Feedback

Recieved well packaged and in great condition. As described in good working order.
14. FOR SALE - AS NEW - Warwick Rockbag Deluxe Bass Guitar Gig Bag The blurb says: Deluxe Rockbag for bass guitar. This light gig bag is the perfect choice for the guitarist on the move who doesn't want to spend too much money buying an expensive hard-case. This bag has plenty of padding and will keep your guitar/bass well protected from knocks or scratches. It has water resistant outer material, back straps, many pockets and a neck support cushion inside. The neck support is a padded pillow that wraps around and fixes with velcro to keep the neck safe and steady inside the case. RRP £40.86 http://www.dawsons.co.uk/acatalog/info_00041210.html THIS REALLY IS AS NEW SO I WILL SELL FOR £20+ p&p (or pick up from Swansea) Steve
15. Up for sale is a Hondo II Jazz. Classic jap copy from the 70's (I guess) It is in bits at present but all the bits are there (apart from the bridge), just needs putting together and wiring up (or refinishing first) I got this in a deal in Switzerland and don't really know much about it. The body has been resprayed black at somepoint - looks a bit like a relic/roadworn. It has typical jazz tuners and pups. It has a brand new tort pickguard. The neck is really nice with m.o.p inlay and it is straight with a working trussrod. This is surplus to requirements so I have no time or inclination to get it playable for selling. I need £60 shipped to mainland uk or £50 collected from Swansea NOW WITH PICS Cheers Steve
16. Hi What is the overall condition of this? Would you ship this to Swansea - if so, how much inc shipping? Any hardcase with it? Am very interested. Cheers Steve
17. Have you got both then? If you have a matching D-tuner I'll take it also if the price is right, but if not I'll add one in the future. How much?
Schaller BMLs are also nickel - were you particularly interested in a set that would include a D-tuner or just the straight set?
18. They were my second choice. What finish are they and what money are we talking?
Nickel plated HB3s - sounds like you need the HB1s (smaller backplate). I do have some Schaller BMLs which look to be that size if you would be interested.
19. What colour are the Hipshot tuners - chrome, nickel? Can you give me the model numbers so I can check they fit - I am after ones with a smaller coffin shaped plate (less than 45mm). If they do then I'll have them definately.
