Yep, I've got one. Expensive but worth it. Strong, well made and lots of pockets for storage. There's no hiding the fact that it is heavy with 2 basses in it but I regularly carry 2 basses on public transport and it's comfortable enough on my back.

I was playing in an originals 'acid jazz' style band called Motivation.... Happy days! Played with Corduroy at a venue called Jollys in Southampton which is sadly no longer there.
Wow that's brilliant! A night to remember I'll bet. What band/style of music were you doing then?
A great band..! Supported them in Southampton around '95/'96 and he was using a Gibson Les Paul bass at that gig...

Or.... "Can you do that song by those American guys that goes ner ner ner, woo hoo, la la?" "Sorry, we don't know that one....." "But you MUST know it....?"

+1 for the EBS.... The last thing in my path before the amp and its always on.

I have a policy of charging students the full amount if they cancel within 24hrs of a lesson. That usually ensures I'm not left waiting for someone who has no intention of turning up...! My view is that if someone wants to pay me to show them how to tie their shoelaces, then thats what I'll do :0)
Sounds amazing.. Any other vids with that band?
If you search for Artful Live on YouTube, I think there are a couple....

The filter in the XT is good and perfectly useable but I find the IQ much more flexible for 70's funk stuff. The BEF pro is used almost exclusively with the hot hand for huge wobble bass, especially on the Artful gigs....

Bass - LS 2 - Octaver - IQ - Multicomp Loop A - PODXT Live - BEF pro + Hot hand Loop B - Deep Impact George L and Lava cables, Diago Powerstation powering everything except the POD.

The general image insurance companies have of pro musicians is that we drive long distances, often, we drive in major cities and also late at night. We also park for long periods in unsavoury locations and carry expensive equipment with us.... These may or may not always be the case but that is why car insurance is loaded for us. Flyfisher is right... Give an insurance company the tiniest chance of a get-out and they WILL refuse any claim that might arise... Chris

You're the one that i want or Summer Nights from Grease..... -
With the UK’s airwaves and online chatrooms buzzing once again to the sound of UK garage, a new generation is tuning in and discovering this uniquely British sound. As such it’s the perfect time for the return of one of the genre’s true pioneers, Mark Hill, once one half of the Artful Dodger and now producing on his own as Artful and about to begin his own headline seven night tour. With four Ivor Novello awards, a number one album, two number one singles and over 10 million records sales worldwide to his name, Mark was one of the key figures of UK garage’s first wave, responsible for popularising the sound back in the late nineties, with “Rewind” considered by many to signify the cross over of Garage from the underground to the mainstream, followed by the now classic album, It’s All About The Stragglers. Fast forward to 2012 and Mark is back, releasing under the name Artful and armed with a collection of new music bearing his signature polished production and unquestionable song writing abilities showcasing his new Future Garage, Dubstep influenced, UKG and RnB tracks. Having introduced the world to the likes of Craig David and Corinne Bailey-Rae, Mark has a knack for working with, and helping to break, future stars and once again he is working with the cream of the UK’s emerging talent, collaborating with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Donae’o & Terri Walker. Artful will be supported on stage by a full band and joined by the great vocal talents of Lifford, Donae’o and Terri Walker performing not only some of the new tracks but also playing some of the old Artful Dodger classics. Friday 4th May - Ballyhoo (formerly The Bowery) London Saturday 5th May - The Soul Cellar, Southampton

As title says. This is a 'top-off' style of case, made for a MB 104HF which measures..... WIDTH 23.39 in. / 59.4 cm HEIGHT 29.13 in. / 73.9 cm DEPTH 18.9 in. / 48 cm It was made by Flightcase Warehouse in September and is in great condition, only having been used a handful of times. The case was £250 new and I'm looking for offers around £150. Due to the size, it is COLLECTION ONLY, from the Southampton area.
You have no idea how much I want this. The GAS is killing me. You should let people pay to play through it all.. (I'd pay at least 50$ myself..)
If you're ever in the UK, you'd be welcome to try it!
In my experience, the best way to approach this for both live and studio is for only the drummer to be playing to the click. The drummer will never play perfectly in time with it, but if you and the rest of the band are keyed into the beat as the drummer interprets it, everyone will sound tight. Jennifer
This....
Worst "Look I've got a 3 grand bass" post ever /envy
Wasn't the point of my post but I'll accept it reads a little arrogant.....
I like listening to the shipping forecast and sailing by, very relaxing
This...... I often put Radio 4 on... I have no idea about the political situation in the Congo or the true meaning of quantative easing but sometimes just the sound of people talking can be the ideal way to unwind. Sh*t, I'm old!! When did THAT happen?

Singer: Whoa, Woodsy's brought the 3 grand bass to a gig! Me: Yep, same one i've been using for a year..... Nice to know I'm noticed....
Chris and Lawrence really look after their customers no matter if you are buying a guitar strap or a £4k instrument. I have a lot of respect for those guys.
Wot eeee sed.....

I'm blushing!! Thanks buddy, that's really kind!
Hey Chris, I booked in with a tutor at another local studio before I saw your post. If it doesn't work out I will be in touch!
No problem, good luck!
