    You need to put a shim under the neck to compensate for a thicker bridge, then you'll be able to get a little lower action. I think you paid the high end for this bass, shops were selling them off for £150 brand new. Nonetheless, these are nice basses, if a little heavy in weight for my liking. 👍 A niggle I have with these are the ill fitting pickguard to the control plate. 🙈

    Am I missing something here. Folk are posting pics if their own basses, do they think their own P basses look better than any P they've EVER seen? I've owned some lovely looking P basses, but none compare to some I've seen on tinterweb! 🤔

    If I've learnt one thing on BC, it's that peoples interpretation of adjectives like "smooth", "warm", "dark" etc vary hugely!

    ParcelForce insurance ranges from £100 - £200. So maximum is £200. Still not great, but workable.

    8 times out of 10 a rattle is a loose tuner ear. Else it's a string loose in the nut slot, or very rarely a loose truss rod nut. But you already knew this as it's mentioned above. 😉

    @yorks5stringer is right. If you use the search function, there is still a thread explaining! An annual sub is £20, then you can sell as many items as you want, no additional fees.

    There's lots of schaller copies, they do come from China - not sure if you would want to order from there right now. If you want decent, lightweight and cheap, I'd look at tuner's by Wilkinson. 👍
