  1. The older ones had fender style headstock, yours is a later one.
  2. Think that is another OTT review. 😉
  3. Also check if the one of the machine heads isn't loose and is the cause of the rattling noise?
  4. What????? You can't get rid of the SB1 - you'll regret it! 😥
  5. Wouldn't it be easier to buy an 18mm bridge and fit that to any bass you like?
  6. Fender 9150's are high tension, something you don't want on an acoustic. You probably want LaBella low tension flats. 👍
  7. These are great basses, and just look so blinking (snow) cool. 😎
  8. Not electrical tape, use plumbers tape. 👍
  9. Yup, pj configuration. I agree, it does spoil the aesthetic, however it's a fender over squier and offers more tone options.
  10. They do look lovely, but for fifty notes more you can get a second hand mim fender mustang. Decisions... Decisions. 🤔
  11. The reviews I've seen for the Cort Action basses are very good, so see no reason why the short scale would be any different.
  12. If you go to Ashdown they will take a look and fix anything which needs fixing for free. 👍
  13. An alternative may be a Vintage VJ74, several colour options, all Wilkinson hardware and vintage voiced (Alnico) pickups. Great bang for buck. Pop on some TI flats and you're sorted. 👍
  14. You need to put SOLD in the title, otherwise the mods won't see it's sold. 👍
  15. Under the "Made in Japan" is the serial number, you can date the bass using this by putting it into the many fender dating websites available online - just do a Google search. 👍
  16. Some pics may help? Headstock front and back, and heel at back of the neck?
  17. Is there any provenance / proof the bass was TM Stevens, and this specific bass was used for recordings or live work with any of the above named?
  18. I saw Radiohead (not called that back then) a few times when they first started playing pub gigs in Oxford in the mid 80s.
  19. If the buyer went through fleabay for the refund, then fleabay will issue the refund, PayPal will be the third party and have no influence whether the buyer gets their refund. So yes, I understand the context.
