  1. Impossibly capable modular synth pedal, six on-board presets to choose from (128 with a midi connection) and literally thousands more available online, and if you don't like any of them you can build your own from scratch using the (free) Neuro desktop app! Has a truly daft amount of functionality, can do filters, octaves, modulation, bitcrushing and more on top of a huge array of synth sounds. Boxed with power supply and hard velcro on the back, I've misplaced the phone cable (a lot of phones don't have a 3.5mm jack these days anyway) but can include a mini USB cable to connect to a desktop if needed - the phone app is fiddly and unreliable for anything more complex than loading a new preset IMO, if you want to get into the weeds with it you're much better off using the desktop app. 180 notes posted.
  2. Bought a strap from Ian, great bit of kit that turned up well packaged in as-new condition. Cheers Ian!
  3. Bought a gigbag off Nick in a super easy transaction, great comms and a fantastic bit of kit, and to top it all off he met me at a mutually convenent location which cut my journey time in half. Cheers Nick!
  4. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/167304789976 These normally go for about 450, so I presume the excess in this case is down to the original Picasso covering the front.
  5. Cheers for that, I'd heard these were heavy and 4.5kg is more than my knackered discs can comfortably support, alas. Looks lovely tho, good luck with the sale.
  6. How much does this weigh please, and do you have a shot of the back of the headstock with the serial number?
  7. Are these forerunners of the G2220? I see the current Streamliners have a VVT config, but this appears identical to the Jet Junior II (which is a cracking short scale in it's own right).
  8. Surprised no-one's mentioned the Fender Mustang Micro (I'll never understand why they chose that name when there's already a 4/6-string using it), a matchbox sized modelling amp with a headphone jack that plugs directly into your instrument. USB rechargeable, the sound quality is great and you can stream to it via bluetooth which lets you play along with, for instance, a Spotify playlist. The latest model (the Plus) features 25 amps and 25 effects that can be chained together in whatever configuration you like via an app and stored in one of 100 presets, along with a tuner and a tap tempo metronome - the original is a little more basic with only 12 amps and 12 effects, and only lets you select one of each. Sound quality on both models is superb, really clear signal from your guitar and the modelled amps and effects are (mostly) great. Absolutely love mine, the upgrades on the Plus are fantastic but the original is still a great little headphone amp. Both can double as an audio interface for use with DAWs as well, although I've not tried that so can't comment on how good they are.
  9. The EHX Switchblade Pro will do what you want - the two send/return loops each have individual volume controls, and work as outputs if you don't return a signal. Mine conked out within a year and is getting sent back to EHX for repair today, as it happens, but it was a fantastic unit while it was working.
  10. Collected a cracking little amp that Jon very generously gave away, he even re-arranged his Saturday morning around our collapsing rail network to meet me at the station. Super friendly and helpful guy, cheers Jon!
  11. Yeah these are great, the ability to adjust the frequency of the distorted part of the signal is something that should be in far more dirts IMO
  12. Saw The Jesus Lizard last night, first time seeing them do a non-festival show in over 30 years and they completely tore the roof off, one of the most incredible / terrifying gigs I've seen. Yow's stage persona is basically GG Allin crossed with William Burroughs and the band are gobsmacking. Sims is an astonishing bassist, an absolute engine of a musician, almost unbelievable that this vicious wall of noise was being turned out by a 3-piece. Playing Bristol tonight with a few more UK shows left, if they're playing anywhere near you get yourself on twickets and see if there's any spares, even if you've never heard them before you absolutely will not regret it.
  13. Bought a couple of drives off Stealth, great deal, banging pedals and they turned up next day in secure packaging. Cheers chief!
  14. Bought another bass off Benedict, same deal as above basically - good deal, belter of an instrument and it came extremely well packaged. Super smooth transaction, Benedict communicated promptly and in detail, couldn't have gone better.
  15. Bought a board & power supply from Ross in a fantastic deal, they were delivered promptly in excellent packaging, great comms throughout and a super easy transaction, thanks Ross!
  16. They look about right as well, appear to be Marvel clones tho so hopefully whichever set they actually are will fit the Marvels I've ordered. Thanks everyone.
  17. Bought a cracking phaser off Lee, great comms beforehand and it was delivered promptly in excellent packaging. Cheers Lee!
  18. That's looking good, the barrel looks to be the right shape & dimensions, I'll give them a whirl. Cheers chief!
  19. They could be an older style I guess, they're definitely not their current "infinity lock" ones
  20. Are they? Be nice if they are, they're easy to get hold of. My Dunlops are flared at the end and have a wider channel in them, like these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jim-Dunlop-Straplock-Dual-Design/dp/B0002CZVXM
  21. What up gangstas, Can anyone ID this straplock? It's on a bass that has passed hands through three forum members now and none of us recognise them. Too fat for Schallers, that much I know. Can get some better pics in natural light tomorrow if needed. Cheers muchly in advance.
  22. Bought Mark's Vintera jazz earlier today in a fantastic deal, he very kindly drove it down to the station to meet me from the train and we spent an hour over a coffee talking all things bass. Mark's a lovely bloke and the transaction couldn't have gone smoother, excellent communications and he responded to all my mithering in a prompt and friendly manner. Cheers Mark!
  23. Bought a Squier Jag off Benedict in a superb deal, great communication and the bass turned up packaged fantastically, effortless transaction. Great little guitar that he's tricked out nicely, he was super helpful and responded quickly to all my queries, cheers Benedict!
  24. "Tone Mallet", they're absolutely shameless lol, at least they've changed the name if not the livery this time tho. What's the build quality like, are there any grounding issues? Some of the DemonFx pedals I've tried felt like they were made out of recycled coke cans and buzzed pretty loudly when the controls were touched.
