    Honestly, i do not play fretless very much the last months and as i also got that beautiful maple neck precision fretless (some may remember), this beauty is up for a trade. The bass plays like a dream, especially the neck is absolutely beautiful, you will see on the pictures. This is what a precision fretless shoukld sound like. She has one [s]dong[/s]` blemish ( ) , except from this, she is in a pretty mint condition. I tried to photograph all details, if you want to see anything else than this, just let me know. Comes with a Fender gigbag.Serial says 1977/78. This bass is absolutely stunning, I think the pictures speak for themselves.

    As a Rack unit i love the rane dc24, i think this is the best comp i played. But i changed my amp from rack to tube. As a pedal i love the demeter compulator but changed this one to markbass compressore tube comp pedal, Really nice and everything you need in my oppinion.

[/quote] yes this is the one. of course you cannot change the tension of bass strings with a string retainer, but we had a collection of several roscor beck5, which only had a string retainer for the last 3 strings. but one did add a string retainer for b and e string and the effect was really good, as the bass had absolutely more punch added, than all the other rb5's. after that meeting all the guys switched to a string retainer for b and e. nevertheless, dr lorider steel are really good strings for what you are looking for. you may also should consider flats

    I really do not know the english word for it, but you may try a cable binder and test if more pressure on the lowend strings and nut will bring you success

    Try a marcus miller 5 string string retainer, or like those on the roscoe beck V. This will help the sound a lot

    I like the sound of TI but the low tension is difficult and i prefer more tension. Chromes are missing some mids which i love to hear, someone says he pressumes eb flats are chromes in a different package, I think they changed their production, the first ones had more midrange and the newer eb flats are really similar to chromes in my oppinion. For my sound i prefer most la bella flats, they have the lowend, the mids and fit perfect in context. You may check also d'angelico smooth rounds, these are mostly halfrounds soundwise but feel like flats, they sound really nice and would be a pretty good step towards flatwounds from rounds

    After the informations that have been provided by a great bc member, this isn't the first time that sean dealt with that kind of style. One bc member told me of a deal where sean tried to fool him with the amount of money he handed over. Additional to this, he sold car parts/items, took the money but didn't ship the sold items..so this one is a parallel story. Seems that i bought a bass from the wrong guy

    To all you gentlemen, all of your words are really appreciated! As i understand the call for violence, this solution will let us lose honour, character and strength as a community. But nevertheless, thank you very much, as i appreciate the intention. As we have 2 top blokes out there, who want to pick up the bass from sean and send it to me, for now we have the problem, that Sean does not answer for details of a handover. Maybe we can get his adress without his response. The idea of a refund is awesome and speaks for the honour and high degree of character in this community. But i think it is me, who has to pay the expensive price for this experience, as well it is Sean, who sold his honour for such a ridiculous price. For me, personally, i am not able to understand what the problem is in this case. The seller had all options and the road had enough crossroads to get back on the right trail again. Really sad, that this is paid back with ignorance.

    TG is not the only one who offered that great help. There is another remarkable guy of the bc community, who offered help and showed what gentlemen are under us. we are on it. TG and the other guy offered to meet sean and pick the bass, so they can send it to me. we are still waiting for Sean response for time and place, or an adress to collect the bass. But also in this case, no answer til now

    Markbass on Ampeg...oh lord! Thanks Did i mention that i have no handle aside of the cab? I am looking for those hanger infront of the cab, because i think it is the best position not being touched or stumbled over.. But 20 usd for the item and 30 usd for shipping is some kind of inbalanced..

    if i had other cabs this could be interesting. there is also another guy in USA, don't remember exactly some kind of renegade handle i think, who does similar but higher quality and safer as you posted above. but i like those ampeg basshangers a lot. unfortunately they want 30 USD for shipping to germany from US

    I am looking for those basshangers for 810 cabs from ampeg. My investigation led me to ebay in us, but shipping costs, plus fees at the customs are more than the item itself..so does anyone of you know, where to find those ampeg basshangers or similar ones in europe?
