Going off on a tangent slightly too, I’ve just picked up a Classic Vibe (Chinese) P and it’s as good as anything 3 times the price, mebbe there’s just no need to spend large amounts of money anymore? Have Chinese/Indonesia guitars just shot up in quality? I’ve just sold an early series 2000 status for what I think is a lot of money! And seriously……..they ain’t that good and I’m sorry but in what world is a Wal worth £8k+ ???

I’m after a nice stingray at the moment and I know what I think they’re worth and what I’m prepared to pay and I really do think bassbros has an influence on this site as to what ppl think their stuff is worth recently, now I’ve been keeping an eye out and Bassbros’s stingrays seen to be creeping up! Do you agree this has a knock on effect to private sellers on Basschat? Japanese P & jazz asking prices seem to be creeping up near £1k when American versions seem to pop up regularly for under that 🤷‍♂️ and………. don’t even get me started on Status & Wal🤣🤦 but, in re-cap it definitely seems slow out there too

Don’t know if any of you guys check the site out very often but prices seem to be creeping up, do you think BassBros have an effect on market prices? I know every business needs to turn a profit but wow…… I’m looking for a Natural/Maple stingray and I see there was a nice Stingray Classic on here at 1650 now advertised on the Bassbros site at £2k! I guess if they’re paying a decent price and you need to shift something why not! I’m not knocking these guys in anyway and wow they get some great stock (most of which I haven’t seen advertised anywhere else). What do you all think???
