  1. Black pickguard looks best IMO
  2. Painted over with dulux gloss, by the looks of it
  3. I wondered who that rig was for. I bet it sounded pretty awesome!
  4. Daz delivered an Ashdown CTM-30 to my parents house in Coventry, for me to pick up in a few weeks. communication was top notch. My dad said he was a lovely guy 😀 cheers Daz, you’re great!
  5. No worries I've been thinking about getting a Babicz for my Epi EB3. I'd also want a gold one...
  6. Yeah, I know it's Babicz. But they do Gibson or Epiphone versions.
  7. Quick question @neepheid, I'll admit I've not read the whole thread. Is that bridge the Gibson or Epiphone version? The bass is looking bloody good so far! I'm a sucker for Black and Gold.
  8. I gave my Ashdown 8x10 and Laney 4x10 to a local small venue for their in house backline. Have you tried any near you?
  9. back in the day their live shows were an experience apparently. Despite buying tickets for several shows over the years I never got to see them headline their own show as something always happened... Still guts me today to think about it... Live in Newport, south Wales in 1987
  10. Butthole Surfers are great. Well worth looking into, erm... as it were.
  11. nice to see some Buttholes being posted... ... wait, that came out wrong!
  12. I'd hope modern gear is more advanced than something from the 80s
  13. Some proggy metal. Not listened to Opeth for quite a while:
  14. My Roland R-8 from the 80s wasn't a drum machine, it was a "Human Rhythm Composer". It had parameters for adding a degree of randomness to velocity, pitch decay, timing and a couple of others. I'd hope modern machines can do this. I used to midi it to a sampler for triggering other sounds.
