The problem with 3rd party bridges is that the Aria one is a high mass brass one. The base plate is about 10mm thick (just measured it), so I'd have to shim it. There's a couple of electroplaters and powdercoaters fairly close to me, so I'll be flinging off some emails. I've also emailed Aria as they used this style of bridge on the recent Black n Gold Cliff Burton reissue.

Has anyone ever had hardware refinished? The gold finish on my Aria's bridge has totally faded on the base and is cracked/bubbled/flaking on the saddles. [attachment=191526:IMG_3834.JPG] Anyone know what options I have?

Do vocals/backing vocals. It's quite hard to look at your fretboard with a mic right in your face...
