1. joegarcia's rig sounds as epic as it looks!! Of course, his rather large pedalboard is missing from that photo...
2. They have a Facebook page...
3. Every now and again I think about buying a gold pickguard for mine. If I ever see one cheap enough I'll do it.
4. Chuck a gold pickguard on it and pretend to be Edgar Willis then... www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VkNmcjPHRE
5. I love my SH P. Even though I've swapped it to round wounds it still has the thump it did with flats. £750 is a great deal these days (mine was £800 brand new in 2010)
6. I can't see many of the images so far, so this may have already been done:
7. I always used to want a Ric until I got to spend a good few hours with one. Hated everything about it and I dislike JH's tactics. I still want one though... I blame Lou Barlow
8. When this has been asked before someone suggested taping the finest wet and dry to your forearm and on your body where the bass' body touches.
9. Lots and lots of lovely lovely Björk
10. There used to be a website with loads of bass tabs and they were pretty accurate. I can't find it anymore though...
11.
No love for the newer stuff? We're gonna try out 'Coil' on a wmc audience next week. A great eclectic mix by the way
Coil is one of my favourite Opeth songs. I always forget about Watershed! I'm not a fan of Heritage though, weakest album they've ever done.

13.
Sad to say it has closed down now.
There probably aren't any of the old music venues, that I used to go to, still open.
14.
There was a brilliant local band in Coventry back in the early 90s called Dirtbox. I had their demo tape and it was ace, but some bastard nicked it.
I saw them a couple of times. Most memorable gig was them supporting Godflesh at the General Wolfe.
15. First one that comes to mind is: ANTA - Centurionaut Oh, Clutch - Earth Rocker is pretty good too.
16. I used to have a 35" 5-string I can't say I ever noticed a difference But then that might have been because the 5th string confused me more than anything
17. I mainly check BC in work these days. By the time I get home and sort the kids out I've forgotten that there was something I needed to check out... :-(
18.
60 grand's a lot of money to lose! Truckstop
When you were paid $1m just for joining a band? JP was a bit of a hero to RT. I don't think he has much intention of giving the bass back...
19. I'd go for the Octavia estate. The new version is out soon with a bigger boot. Have you thought of the Suberb estate? That thing is massive inside. If the 159 is anything like the 156 then the boot opening was quite small and an odd shape. The Octavia and the A4 are basically the same car (as is the Passat) and a BMW is a BMW (no indicators, difficulty staying in lanes...)
20.
It's a great album, I still have my vinyl copy from 198-mumblemumble, and it's part of small but selct group that accompany me when I go to demo new turntables. (Probably happened three times since then, tbh)
Hmmmm... I also have it on vinyl... And I've just set up some of my hifi... brb!
