Love the Suite XVI!
A couple of years ago I got a quote from Jon about a bass that was almost the same as this. But mine had a J pickup and a maple board.
Unfortunately financial stuff happened...

I'm really curious. fair enough, plenty of sweat but what else?
Skin, rust, maybe some tar from cigarettes, beer...
Mainly sweat, Rob does get particularly sweaty during gigs...

Rob is such an under-rated bassist!
I'm a big NoMeansNo Fan. I've been listening to them for most of the week.
The bass in action a few days ago (muffled sound)

How do people rate the Ring Mod? Anyone know if it's possible to get a sound similar to Conjugal Burns by The Mars Volta? Cheers sorry for all the questions
The ring mod is pretty good. The frequency doesn't go as high as Juan's, but chuck in a bit of vibrato and you get a passable sound.
I take it you found this.

The tab is a bit wonky as it's across 6 strings...

There was an excellent exhibition on Heavy Metal and it's birthplace (YVMV) in Brum last year. The show was good and extensive, featured mostly Sabbath and judas Priest and their family trees.
They had some of Iommi's backline there but sadly his guitars were represented by a handful of Epiphone SGs. Not a fan of the genre that much - apart from Motorhead - but it was interesting enough.

The Capsule/Supersonic Festival girls organised that (The Home of Heavy Metal). As part of this year's Supersonic Festival they're doing a Black Sabbath walking tour:

Okay thats good, i dont want to get it only for the better one to be released!
I'm getting frustrated the update hasn't been released yet...
I love my JJ-500. Prior to that I had Ampeg PF-500 and before that a MarkBass LMII.
The Ashdown is by far the best sounding amp I've had. And more reliable than the 2 PF-500s.

Does anyone have a circuit for putting an LED on a non-latching footswitch, so that it toggles on and off every time you press it?
Edit: After doing a bit of research, what I need is apparently called a 'flip-flop' circuit. Presumably named after its French inventor, Phillipe Phelope :-)

Any good?
Can anyone tell me what bass Billy has at 3:00 in this. I'm pretty sure it's one of his Zons, but this is the one with the odd frets.
